Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT), situated in Bhubaneswar, Orissa, was founded in 1962. Accredited by the UGC and ICAR, it is India's second-oldest agricultural university. OUAT Admission 2025

The Common Entrance Test (CET), an entrance exam administered by the institution, provides the basis for choosing applicants for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Candidates for admission can use the SBI website to submit their applications online after downloading the relevant application form from the university's official website. 

• The necessary Rs. 1000 in fees must also be paid by the candidates for admission using the accessible online payment method.
• The candidate must download a hard copy of the admission application Form-B' from the prospectus, appear at the entrance exam on the designated date, and
• send it to the university via Registered Post, Speed Post, or Courier Service by the deadline, together with self-attested photocopies of the necessary documents and testimonials.

OUAT Scholarship 2025

OUAT Scholarship for UG students are:

• The candidate must download a hard copy of the admission application Form-B' from the prospectus and submit it with self-attested photocopies of the necessary documents after taking the entrance exam on the designated date. 15% of the batch's total strength is eligible for a merit scholarship, which is Rs. 500 per month.
• 10% of the batch's total strength is eligible for free studentship, which costs Rs. 500 per semester.
• According to D.H.E., the Medhabruti Scholarship is worth Rs. 10,000 a year.
• Tuition and maintenance costs for the SC/ST/Minor Community are covered by the Post-Matric Scholarship, which is determined by the Welfare Department for Minorities and Backward Classes and SC/ST Development.
• The Kalia Scholarship is awarded by the Odisha government to candidates whose parents get benefits from the Kalia program.

OUAT Scholarship for PG students are:

• Merit Scholarship: Rs. 1500 per month for two applicants in each field.
• For students in the ST, SC, and minority groups, the Post Matric Scholarship covers tuition and maintenance costs.
• Post Graduate Scholarship for Veterinary Science, M.Sc. (Ag.), M.Tech. (Ag. Engg.), and M.F.Sc. students: Rs. 12,640/-per month plus a contingency of Rs. 6000/-per year.

OUAT Facility 2025

The OUAT provides different facilities to their students. Detail OUAT Facility are

• Library: There are 97589 books in the Central Library, along with 7204 bound volumes of journals and subscriptions to 45 foreign and 110 Indian publications. In addition, the Central Library has 3951 Ph.D. and Sc. theses, as well as general reference, reports, proceedings, abstracts, reviews, bibliographies, and in-house publications.
• Hostel: Hostels at universities house about 3030 students in rooms with one, two, three, or four seats. Additionally, starting in 2012, an international hostel was built to house international students. Two dorms on the Bhubaneswar campus are specifically designed for male and female postgraduate students.
• Sports Complex: OUAT provide sports facility like Badminton Court, Basketball Court, Cricket Ground, Football Ground, Hockey ground, Volleyball Court, Kho-kho field, Indoor Hall for Badminton and Table Tennis
