Pondicherry Engineering College (PEC) is an engineering college located in Pillaichavady on the East Coast Road. PEC was established under the VII 5-Year Plan and has been ranked 76th in the Engineering Category according to the NIRF Rankings 2019. It is an autonomous college in terms of administration and staff recruitment. The college offers 8 undergraduate and 13 postgraduate programs. With a total of 12 departments, the college provides B.Tech and M.Tech courses in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and several more specializations.
Admissions are offered based on JEE Mains and GATE examinations.
