Raja Man Singh Tomar Arts and Music University was formed on 14th August 2008 in the memory of Raja Mansingh Tomar as the king was extremely fond of Music and Dance. There was a tremendous rise in progress in Music and Sculpture during his reign.
The University is located in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. At the time when the university began operating with five Faculties of Music, Dance, Fine Arts, Theatre and Social Science with affiliation to almost Ninety five institutions of Madhya Pradesh As a teaching cum residential university; the faculties have enriched the cultural heritage with different activities all over. The University is focusing on the advancement and cultural heritage with different activities all over. The University is directed towards the promotion and dissemination of learning and knowledge of music and arts and their contribution to national development.
It provides programs such as B.A, M.A., B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. programs in the Arts, Music and Dance.
