Rajkiya Engineering College, Popularly known as REC, based in Banda, Uttar Pradesh, was established in 2010 as a Premier Government Institute by the government of uttar pradesh. It is known as one of the top government colleges of India. It was also Formerly known as Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Engineering College of Information Technology: BRAECIT. The University is approved by AICTE. REC Banda is affiliated to DR. A.P.J. ABDUL KALAM TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY (AKTU). It is certified by NAAC and NBA. The University offers programs like UG, and PG. Also, the university offers different courses, including BTech, Lateral BTech, MTech, etc., at various levels and departments. Every year, it offers around 500+ seats for eligible students. Its fee structure varies in the range of INR 54,300. The eligibility Criteria will differ for various programs. Under the UG  program, courses like BTech and Lateral BTech require candidates with a minimum of 45%-40% aggregate in a 10+2 equivalent higher qualifying exam recognised by related boards with relevant subjects and a valid JEE Main Score. A PG Program requires candidates with a minimum of 50% to 45% aggregate in graduation and a valid GATE Score.
