Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya is a government university in Jabalpur, established in 1957. It is also known as the University of Jabalpur, and it has received NAAC accreditation with a 'B+'. RDVV Admission 2025
Candidates seeking admission to the institution must meet the fundamental eligibility requirements specified for each course. Admission to undergraduate and postgraduate degrees is based on the results of the entrance exam and the merit score obtained. On the other hand, the institution administers the Doctoral Entrance Test (DET) for admission to Ph.D. programs for each subject separately. Candidates that pass the interview exam are needed to attend an interview in order to be selected for the course.

RDVV Scholarships
The university's scholarship offerings are detailed here.
- The university provides merit-based scholarships to needy students who struggle to pay for their education. This prize is only awarded to 30 students each year.
- Students must take an admission test, and if they meet the conditions for the award, they will receive a scholarship certificate saying that their costs will be waived.
- RDVV also permits its students to apply for the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology's National Scholarship Program.
- There is also a scholarship program for students from Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe.

- Hostel: There are two hostels: Devendra Boys' Hostel (100 rooms) and Kasturba Women's Hostel (80 rooms).
- Library: The university library, popularly known as the Pandit Dwarka Prasad Mishra reading hall, houses about 200,000 books, 10,000 research journals, and 5,000 thesis journals. All of these materials are supplied to children in order to help them improve and receive an appropriate education.
- Internet/Wi-Fi: The classrooms and computer laboratories provide uninterrupted broadband and Wi-Fi connectivity for the benefit of students.
- Sports infrastructure: Researchers may use the university sports ground to play cricket, football, tennis, and even conduct annual games meetings for all the divisions.
