The RIE Bhubaneswar provides various top notch facilities to its students, that are library, laboratories, classrooms, educational resource centre, children’s park, canteen, CPWD civil, CPWS Electrical, Post office, bank, dispensary, hostel, ICT Studio in e-learning, Playground, Guest House, campus, computer application centre, sales counter.
Library
The library is located in the main building of the institute consisting of one stack room, reference section, reading halls, technical section, periodical section, circulation counter, reprography room and browsing room (computers) etc.
Their library is fully automated using KOHA open source library automation software. It has an online public access catalogue (OPAC) for easy searching and retrieval of library documents.
The library is equipped with the software and hardware (JAWS Talking Screen Reader for the blind, Zoomtext Screen Magnifier/ reader for particle blind and clear Reader + Basic Text Reading Machine) to enable the use of the library by visually/ partially visually impaired students.
Laboratories
The laboratories are the place where students perform experiments, practice and learn the activities of sciences. It has different libraries for each department. In the physics labs, it has three Physics Labs out of which one is Electricity and electronics, the other is optics and the third one is for Mechanics.
The laboratories of Chemistry sections are well equipped with instruments and apparatus to cater to the needs of conducting practical classes of IV year integrated B.Sc BEd students and II year BEd students.
The Botany department is well ventilated and is equipped with the necessary instruments such as dissecting microscopes, compound microscope, binocular microscope, digital centrifuge, MIPS etc.
Educational Resource Room
In the RIE Bhuneswar main campus building, in room number 125 the Educational Resource Room has been developed. It has more than 250 types of activities from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Social Science (Geography) has been developed and kept for demonstration.
Canteen
The Canteen of the institute is centrally located in between the institute and DM Building. All the staff and students of the Institute as well as DM school are benefited by the canteen. The menu is being planned by the Canteen Management and the hygienic standard of the food is maintained by the contractor. The canteen is also used to serve food during the PAC programs and meetings of the institute.
CPWD Electrical/ Civil
The Central Public Works Department (CPWD) of RIE, institution and is the principal agency of the Government of India responsible for creating assets and providing comprehensive services including planning, designing, construction and maintenance of office and residential buildings as well as other infrastructure.
Hostel
The institute is providing hostel facilities to its students; it has a total of 5 hostels in the campus. They are Ashutosh Hostel (for ladies), Homi Bhabha Hostel (for boys), Gopabandhu Hostel (for ladies), Ramanujan Hostel (for ladies) and Laxmibai Hostel (for ladies).

ICT Studio
ICT Studio is an important component of the Regional Institute of Education, Bhubaneswar. It was established in 2016 with the collaboration with the CIET, New Delhi. The main function of the ICT Studio is to design and produce audio-video e-contents related to school and teacher education.
Playground
The institute provides 4 playgrounds to students, which are basketball court, football playground, Kho Kho playground, tennis court.
Computer Application centre
The computer application centre (CAC) comprises three laboratories such as CAC Lab-1, Lab-2, Lab-3 with attached server room along with an in-charge's chamber. It has hundreds of PCs and laptops fully loaded with all essential software such as windows-10, C++, Unicode, ms office, anti virus and internet with Wi-Fi connectivity.
