SASMIRA's Institute of Design and Textiles began in 2010 under the renowned Synthetic & Art Silk Mills' Research Association (SASMIRA) in Mumbai. It provides various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in fashion, textiles, and design. It is ISO 9001:2015 certified. • Postgraduate Diploma in Fashion & Apparel Business (1 year) and Technical Textiles (1–2 years) cost approximately ₹2–3 lakh per year. Fees differ depending on the duration of the course.
• Certificate Courses (Fashion Designing, Merchandising, CAD, Textile Testing) are 6 months to 1 year, and the cost is approximately ₹1–1.5 lakh for the entire duration.
