DU SOL: Fees Structure 2025 – Course-wise Breakdown

The SOL DU offers Undergraduate/ Postgraduate Degree courses in the subjects of Arts/Humanities and Commerce. The printed course material is distributed by mail to all the enrolled students through the medium of instructions. Various study center are run by DU SOL for Personal Contact Program conducted for the benefit of students, for academic interaction with students an experienced faculty is always available at the main campus.

The University of Delhi's School of Open Learning (SOL DU) offers about 11 courses in various specializations. They offere both undergraduate and graduate programs. DU SOL BA:

The Bachelor of Arts program is offered by the School of Open Learning, University of Delhi (SOL DU) for a minimum of three years. Admission to the BA program at SOL DU is entirely based on merit. In Class 12, admission is determined by merit.

Ten specializations are covered under the SOL DU BA. All of these courses are entirely merit-based in terms of admission. The following are the requirements for DU SOL BA eligibility:

DU SOL BA(Hons.):

SOL DU The three-year undergraduate BA (Hons) degree is offered. The institution provides four specializations within this study, including BA (Hons) Economics, BA (Hons) Political Science, and BA (Hons) English. The SOL DU BA (Hons) program accepts students based on their Class 12 results.

DU SOL B.COM(Hons.):

The DU SOL BCom (Hons) program duration is three years. Candidates should review the eligibility requirements relevant to each course before applying to this college for admission to the BCom (Hons) program. Admission to DU SOL BCom (Hons) is granted on the basis of Class 12 grades.

DU SOL B.COM Program:

School of Open University, University of Delhi (SOL DU) provide 3 year course of B.Com Program. Merit-based admission is used for SOL DU BCom. It is recommended that candidates verify the minimal eligibility requirements for SOL DU BCom prior to submitting their application. DU SOL BBA:

Business administration and management are the main subjects covered in courses leading to a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. Students who want to improve their leadership abilities may consider this course, where they can earn a degree in addition to training.

DU SOL MA:

SOL DU provides an MA program at the postgraduate level that lasts two to four years at the most. There are four specialty options for the postgraduate course. The MA admission process at DU SOL is entrance- and merit-based. Only Delhi University students are granted direct admission, accounting for 50% of the available seats. The admission exam and interviews/group discussions with students from outside Delhi University are used to fill the remaining 50% of the seats. Candidates do not need to register separately for the MA from SOL DU because the SOL option is automatically selected on the DU application form.

DU SOL M.Com:

An MCom programme is also available from the School of Open Learning, University of Delhi, or SOL DU, for a minimum of two and a maximum of four years. Depending on the number of seats available, admission is determined by both entrance and merit. Only Delhi University students are admitted directly into the degree, making about 50% of the total seats. In order to fill the remaining 50% of the seats for the DU SOL MCom course, students from outside Delhi University must complete an admission exam and an interview or group discussion.
