SIES Nerul's motto is, RISE WITH EDUCATION, the South Indian Education Society (SIES), which has been leading the way in education since 1932 and providing high-quality education in different areas, and has chosen the Rising Sun as its emblem and promises to students to further the nation's advancement. Many of students are lucky enough to have completed their higher education at some of the top universities in the world.

But the poor and middle class are increasingly unable to afford higher education. Making higher education accessible and affordable for those who aspire to it is vital. Such underprivileged and worthy individuals deserve higher education, and society owes it to itself to provide it.

To solve this issue and benefit society as a whole, the SIES Education Assistance Trust (SEAT) is a modest yet kind move. On August 15, 2008, Bharat Ratna A.P.J. Abdul Kalam officially opened SEAT. Currently supported by internal accruals, SEAT has a corpus fund of Rs. 4.5 crores. They give about Rs. 50 lakhs in a year to about 500 students at different SIES Nerul colleges. Both merit and financial factors are taken into consideration while choosing these kids. As it turns out, SEAT is one of the best projects SIES Nerul has recently completed.
