Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University is a state university, situated in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India's Chittoor district. It specialises in veterinary studies and was founded by the Andhra Pradesh government in 2005. To support farmer-oriented and need-based research to develop harvest and post-harvest technologies, Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University offers a variety of undergraduate (UG) programs, including B.Sc., B.V.Sc., and B.Tech., as well as postgraduate (PG) programs, including M.Tech, MS, M.Sc., and M.V.Sc., along with Ph.D. programs in various branches of veterinary, dairy, and fisheries sciences. All bachelor's degree selection will be based on the Andhra Pradesh entrance exam, known as the EAMCET. Admission to M.F.Sc. and M.Tech. programs will be determined by performance on the PG Entrance Exam, which will account for 70% of the total weight, and by grades earned in B.F.Sc. or B.Tech (Dairy), which will account for 30% of the total weight. • For students in the general category, the registration price is INR 1,100. The registration cost is INR 550 for candidates who are SC, ST, or PH. The only way to pay this fee is online, ideally at Andhra Bank or any other nationalised bank.
• On or before the deadline, the form must be delivered to the Registrar, SVVU Administrative office, Dr. Y. S. R. Bhavan, Tirupati-517502, and A.P. The application form won't be taken into consideration otherwise. Candidates have two options for submitting it: in person or via mail.
• If candidates have already applied, please ensure that they use the appropriate channel to submit an application.
• For postal delays, the university will not grant any kind of favour or concession.

According to the SVVU placement 2024 NIRF data, the university's 2023 median package for the UG 4-year course was INR 8 LPA. SVVU provides multiple scholarships to their deserving students. Some of the SVVU scholarships are mentioned below

• The State Government reimbursed tuition and special fees for all eligible students, including minority and economically disadvantaged students, and offered a scholarship of 962/- per month to BC students and 1200/- per month to SC and ST students.
• 403 students received scholarships totalling 38.7 lakhs during the course of the year.
• For 42 students from other states who were admitted under the VCI/ICAR all-India quota, ICAR, New Delhi, approved a National Talent Scholarship worth 1000/-per month, totalling 4.20 lakhs.
