St. Xavier's University Kolkata offers various scholarships to its meritorious students. The general scholarships provided by this university consist of two types through which 100 percent and 50 percent fee is exempted for eligible students. Students from St. Xavier's University Kolkata can also claim Government Scholarships and educational loans. Some of the scholarships provided by St. Xavier's University are as follows:
FOR BOTH PG & UG COURSES (EXCEPT MBA)
Ignatius Scholarship applies to students having 40% or more of the following Disabilities as defined under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016: Blindness, Low Vision, Leprosy - cured persons, Hearing Impairment (deaf & hard of hearing), Locomotor Disability, Dwarfism, Intellectual Disability, Mental Illness, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Chronic Neurological Conditions, Specific Learning Disabilities, Multiple Sclerosis, Speech and Language Disability, Thalassemia, Haemophilia, Sickle Cell Disease, Acid Attack Victim, Parkinson's Disease, and Multiple Disabilities.

- For Nihil Ultra Scholarship: candidate should have 95% or more in Class X & Class XII board exams. Marks will be calculated according to CBSE/ CISCE/ State Board.
- Lafont Scholarship For Lafont Scholarship, the student should have a minimum of 90 per cent marks in both Class X & Class XII board examinations. Calculation of Marks shall be as per CBSE/ CISCE/ State Board guidelines.
