Surendranath College is a public college affiliated with University of Calcutta, Kolkata. It is after the name of renowned scholar Surendranath Banerjee. (General) courses in two specializations. Surendranath College provides BA (Hons) in nine specializations, BA (General), B.Com (Hons) and B.Com (General) courses.

Surendranath College: BA, B.Sc. And B.Com Admission 2025

Surendranath College provides different undergraduate programs of Honours and General in Arts, Science and Commerce stream for the period of three years. Eleven specializations in B.Sc. (Hons), two specializations in B.Sc. (General) are being provided by the college. Also BA (Hons) for nine specializations, BA (General), B.Com (Hons) and B.Com (General) programs.

Criteria of Eligibility:

  • A minimum aggregate of 50% with 45% marks in the subject or related subject at previous examinations.
  • At least 55% marks in the subject or allied subject at the previous examination.
  • Minimum 50% marks in the aggregate when a candidate has not studied in the previous examination.
  • Candidates belonging to reserved category must have obtained minimum 40% marks in the aggregate or 40% marks in the subject.

Surendranath College Selection Process:

Merit in the qualifying examination shall be the basis for the selection of candidates.
