Symbiosis Institute of Design offers a 4-year full-time Bachelor of Design (B.Des) program in four vibrant specialisations: Communication Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Design, and Fashion Communication. All specialisations emphasise hands-on, practical learning through workshops, live projects, internships, and regular industry interaction, making students industry-ready upon graduation.

To be eligible for admission, applicants must have passed the 10+2 or an equivalent examination in any stream from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Students from all streams of learning—Science, Commerce, or Arts—can apply provided they fulfil the academic and entrance exam requirements.

Symbiosis Institute of Design boasts a strong placement cell that is closely integrated with industries to give placement and internship opportunities to students. Alumni are being placed in various fields, including advertising, UX/UI design, animation, fashion, product design, and others. Admissions to the Symbiosis Institute of Design are through the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED), followed by a Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction (PRPI). The application is entirely online and is designed to assess both creative potential and academic ability.
