At the undergraduate level, SSE offers B.Sc in Economics, a three-year program with multiple specializations such as Development Studies, International Relations, and Finance. Applicants must have completed their 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates), and admissions are conducted through the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) followed by a Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test (PI-WAT). At the postgraduate level, SSE offers a two-year M.Sc in Economics with specialization in International Trade, Development Studies, Financial Economics, and Public Policy. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST), preferably with a background in Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics. SSE Admission 2025

To take the Symbiosis Entrance Test, which is required for admission to the B.Sc. (Economics) Honours of SSE program, students must apply online. To be eligible for a B.Sc., a candidate must have passed 12th Standard or an equivalent exam from any accredited board with at least 50% of the possible points (45% of the possible points for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes).

Admission is contingent upon passing the Personal Interaction, Writing Ability Test, and Symbiosis Entrance Test. The Symbiosis Entrance Test will incorporate the Writing Ability Test. The shortlisted candidates will participate in an online Personal Interaction. 

To take the admission at M.Sc in Economics, any graduate with economics, mathematics, statistics, or physics is eligible for an M.Sc. Graduates of B.Tech and B.E. programs may also apply. Graduates of any statutory university who received at least 50% of their possible points or an equivalent grade (45% or a comparable grade for SC/ST students).

Applications are welcome from students taking their final year exams, but admission will be contingent upon receiving at least 50% of the possible points or an equivalent grade (45% for SC/ST students) on the qualifying exam.
