Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS) was established by the Tamil Nadu government in 1989 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It is the first veterinary university in Asia. For admission at TANUVAS, interested candidates can apply online and offline. At the undergraduate level, students can seek admission to BTech and B.V.Sc & AH based on TNEA and the merit list of the last qualifying examination. 15% of the total seats for BVSc & AH are reserved for candidates selected by the Veterinary Council of India. Similarly, 15% of BTech (FT) seats are reserved for candidates selected by ICAR and GoI.
