The New College is an autonomous arts and science college connected to the University of Madras that receives government assistance. The Muslim Association of Southern India (MEASI) founded it in 1951. The college receives A++ (CGPA 3.61 out of 4) re-accreditation from NAAC in the fourth cycle. The New College Admission 2025:

Welcome to The New College's admissions page. The New College is a prestigious institution of higher learning. Applications that contain inaccurate information or an incorrect application fee will be denied; the payment link contains information about the application fee. After being accepted into the institution, a separate application for hostel admission must be sent to the deputy warden of The New institution Hostel. Hostel accommodations are not guaranteed by enrollment in any course. Donations are not accepted for admission to the college. The New College Scholarship 2025:

The students can apply for the following scholarships. For further information on other scholarships, students are advised to speak with the class counselor/scholarship clerk in the office. Additionally, they should read the scholarship announcements posted on the Notice Boards on a regular basis. Minority students are eligible for national merit-cum-means scholarships. In the qualifying exam, candidates must receive at least 50% of the possible points. Since there are only a certain number of scholarships available, the applicants' scores on their qualifying exam may be used to determine which candidates are qualified. Ph.D., M.Phil., UG, and PG courses are eligible for this grant. Limit of annual income: Rs. 1,00,000. SC and ST undergraduate and graduate students are eligible for the National Loan Scholarship. Candidates must have received at least 50% on the qualifying exam. Only students residing in reputable or authorized dorms are eligible for this scholarship. Limit of annual income: Rs. 1,00,000.

Scholarships for students with physical disabilities, such as those who are visually impaired, deaf or hearing impaired, or orthopedically challenged. Limit of annual income: Rs. 1,00,000. For students who are SC, ST, or who have converted from Hinduism to Christianity, the state offers both residential and non-residential scholarships. These students must be native to Tamil Nadu or have their primary residence there. The annual income cap is Rs. 1,00,000 for Christian converts and Rs. 2,00,000 for SC and ST individuals. Students who completed their education in the Union Territory of Pondicherry are eligible for the Pondicherry State Post-Metric Scholarship. Students from Manipur state are eligible to apply for Post-Metric scholarships from the Government of Manipur's Directorate of Tribal Affairs.

For students from the Lakshadweep group of islands, the Kochi administration of the Union Territory of Lakshadweep offers scholarships. Students from Nagaland state are eligible to apply for Post-Metric scholarships from the Directorate of Higher Education in Kohima, Nagaland. The Directorate of Collegiate Education, Tamil Nadu, offers scholarships under the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Laborers - Farmer’s Welfare Scheme to students who are members of the farmer’s community. scholarships for Tamil Nadu-born students with physical disabilities whose parents make less than Rs. 1,00,000 per year.
