In Kota University, Rajasthan a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate courses in PGD, MBA, MCA, MSW, LLM, M.PED, MCom (Accounting & Finance), BSc, M.Sc, M.Tech, MA, and PhD are available. Each Kota University course has a different total cost based on the caution money, local fund, and admission price. The Postgraduate Diploma in Reptilian Science (PGDRS) is a specialized diploma course offered by Kota University. Bachelor of Science (BSc) programs and Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharma) courses specifically designed for pharmaceutical studies are offered at the undergraduate level by Kota University.

B.Sc:
A three-year full-time Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) program is available at Kota University. There are six specializations within the course. Under the Faculty of Science, it is accessible. Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, and Botany are the specializations that are provided. The completion of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology as required subjects in the 12th grade with a minimum of 48% marks is the minimum eligibility requirement. Selection is made on the basis of 12th grade merit.
Eligibility:
- Second examination from an accredited university covering the topics of biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics.
- Minimum Grade Points in the twelfth grade from an accredited Rajasthani university:
- 48% in the general category.
- OBC, SBC, SC, and ST Minimum Passing Scores.
- Also, 60% of all categories come from other accredited universities in other states.
M.SC:
M.Sc. admission to Kota University for 2023 is currently open. The third merit list for M.Sc. program admission has been made public by the university. The merit list is available for candidates to view and download via the official website, @admission.Kota University.sisums.org. October 4, 2023 is the deadline for candidates who were chosen in the third round to submit their fees.
- Full-time two-year MSc programs in Chemistry, Physics, Botany, Zoology, Geography, BioTechnology, Microbiology, Wildlife Science, and Mathematics are available at the University of Kota.
- Over the course of two years, the course is broken up into four semesters.
- Students must pass their bachelor's degree in the relevant field with a minimum score of 55% for general candidates and 40% for reserved candidates from an accredited institution in order to apply for an MSc course at the University of Kota.
- Only online applications will be accepted for admission from candidates.
Eligibility:
Candidates for the Master of Science program must meet the requirements for admission to the relevant fields of study. Only those who meet the requirements are eligible to apply for admission.
Chemistry: Students must complete three or four years of a B. Sc. degree in selected disciplines, with a minimum 60% score for students who take admission from outside of Rajasthan and 55% for those who take admission from inside the state.
Physics: Candidates who take admission from Rajasthan must achieve minimum 55% scores and candidates who take admission from outside of Rajasthan need to achieve 60% for pass the B.Sc. (Maths) exam.
Biology: Candidates must have a degree in Bachelor of Science and Education (B.Sc.-B.Ed.) in any of the fields: microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, bioinformatics, biology, chemistry, botany, zoology, environmental science, pharmaceutical science, or biology with a BTech in biotechnology. Candidates must receive at least 55% score from Rajasthani universities and a 60% score from universities outside of Rajasthan.
Botany, Zoology, and Microbiology: Students need to successfully complete a three- or four-year B. Sc. (Hons) degree in a relevant field, or a four-year B. Sc.-Tech./ B. Sc.-B. Ed. degree that combines science and teacher education, together. Candidates must receive at least a 55% score from Rajasthani universities and a 60% score from universities outside of Rajasthan.
MA:
MA is a 2 year full time course which is offered by the university. There are eleven specializations within the course. Under the two faculties (the faculties of science and social science), it is accessible.
- There are four semesters in the MA program. Archaeology, geography, sociology, history, public administration, tourism, development studies, mathematics, heritage, museum studies, and economics are among its areas of expertise.
- A bachelor's degree with at least 48% of the possible points is required for minimum eligibility. Interview and entrance exam results determine selection.
Also, the university provides MA programs in the affiliated colleges. Drawing & Painting, Economics, English, Geography, Heritage, Tourism & Museology, Hindi, History, Home Science, Music, Political Science, Psychology, Public Administration, Rajasthani, Sanskrit, Social Work, Sociology, Urdu, and Vedic Vangmaya are among the specializations given in affiliated colleges. Eligibility:
- Candidates need to have completed their graduation in any discipline.
- The required minimum score for the exam from a Rajasthan State-accredited university is 48%. and 60% comes from an accredited university in another state.
Kota University Fee Structure:
More than 48 courses at the UG, PG, and additional levels are offered by KOTA UNIVERSITY. Admission to KOTA UNIVERSITY courses is contingent upon passing the most recent qualifying exam or having an entrance accepted into multiple courses. At the UG level, KOTA UNIVERSITY provides courses such as UG Diploma, B.Sc., etc. Postgraduate degrees such as M.Sc., MCA, etc. are also available. All of these courses have merit-based admissions.
