VFSTR University offers scholarships to B.Tech and B.Pharm candidates based on their performance in the Class XII examinations, VSAT, TS EAMCET, JEE Mains, JEE Advanced, etc. The percentages and corresponding scholarship amounts vary with the examination type and the candidates' rankings or grades.

VFSTR - Lateral Entry Scholarships
For lateral entry students, scholarships are provided based on merit in the VUCET (an online test by the university), rank obtained in E-CET by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, or aggregate marks secured in the diploma examination.

VFSTR - PG Scholarships
At the postgraduate level, scholarships are offered to M.Tech, MCA, MA English, and M.Sc. Chemistry candidates based on various criteria such as merit in B.Tech, marks obtained in GATE/ PGECET/ VUGATE, merit in ICET conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, and merit in degree level examination and admission test & oral interview conducted by the respective department.

VFSTR - Ph.D. Scholarships
For full-time Ph.D. scholars, the VFSTR University offers INR 25,000 per month for Engineering and INR 18,000 for Science, Management, and Humanities under the Half Time Research Assistantship (HTRA). Additionally, there is a 50% tuition fee waiver for faculty working in Vignan Institutions and registered as part-time research scholars.
VFSTR - SC/ST Scholarships
The VFSTR University provides a 25% tuition fee waiver as a scholarship to all SC/ST students admitted into all UG/PG programs as part of the institution's social responsibility.
VFSTR - Alumni Scholarships
The VFSTR University gives a 10% tuition fee waiver as a scholarship to students who have completed their qualifying examination in any of Vignan's institutions across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states.
VFSTR - Staff Scholarships
The VFSTR University provides a 20% tuition fee waiver as a scholarship to students who are a spouse, son, or daughter of an employee of Vignan's institutions across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states.
VFSTR - Siblings Scholarships
The VFSTR University offers a 10% tuition fee waiver as a scholarship to students whose siblings are studying in any of Vignan's institutions.
VFSTR - Wards of Armed Personnel Scholarships
The VFSTR University grants a 10% tuition fee waiver as a scholarship in all years of UG/PG programs to wards of armed personnel.
VFSTR - Scholarship Guidelines
For the continuation of the VFSTR University Scholarship, students must meet certain criteria including, passing in all subjects at the first attempt, scoring 70% or above in the preceding year without any backlogs, clearing all dues and paying the whole fee for the particular semester/year, and not being involved in any act of indiscipline, ragging or eve teasing.
VFSTR - Scholarship Distribution
The VFSTR University adheres to a specific distribution system for scholarships. The first 1/5th of the top 5% of students receive 50% of the category - A fee as a scholarship. The next 2/5th of the top 5% of students receive 30% of the category - A fee. The remaining 2/5th of the top 5% of students receive 20% of the category - A fee.
