Vignan's Institute of Management and Technology for Women was initiated in 2008 by Vignan Group and is situated at Ghatkesar, Telangana, providing quality education to women alone. It is a women only college affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad providing technical education. Situated on a 5-acre land, VMTW offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in engineering and technology. It has a cumulative admission of 972 students and 119 teachers as faculty that provide a one-to-one approach. VMTW has approval from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) which bears witness to its learning standards. The institute possesses all the infrastructure facilities to enhance learning with facilitatory infrastructure in the classrooms. Facilities at the campus are well equipped laboratories like Electronics and Communications Laboratory Control Systems and Simulation Laboratory. A state-of-the-art library and IT infrastructure have efficient and modern systems of knowledge storage, and the centre has 120 Mbps high-speed internet. For all-round development of the employees, the company offers sports facilities and even a gym in VMTW. It also hosts health services for students through the presence of a health centre and an attendant doctor. VMTW offers ten courses of 2 levels of degrees. The institute is providing 6 undergraduate B.Tech programs and 4 post graduate M.Tech programs, both being only full time programs. Specializations in B.Tech programs include a wide range of contemporary fields like Computer Science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence & Data Science. Post graduate level, Master of Technology is available in streams like VLSI and Computer Science and engineering. The quota for approval of these programmes is 582, which is the institute's capability to generate a good number of engineers and technologists in the making.
