Vivekananda College is known for providing a dynamic and empowering educational environment for young women. The college was set up in 1970 in Gandhi Nager by the Delhi Administration with grants from UGC.
The college offers a diversity of courses. A total of eleven UG and two PG courses are offered. Courses (Hons. and Program) offered related to Arts, Commerce, and Science. Several Add-on courses and one self-financing course if offered as well.
As a part of its ongoing engagement with the larger community, the college has assisted and acted as a resource base. The Social Outreach and Community Development (SOCDC), Vidya Vistar and NSS volunteers of the college have actively facilitated this process of community outreach.
Vivekananda College provides programs including B.A., M.A., B.Sc, Certificate, and B.Com in streams such as Engineering, Humanities & Social Science, IT & Software, Science and Arts.

Vivekananda College Admission will be based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET scores conducted by NTA for both UG and PG programs. Once the CUET results are out, the registration process for admission to the Vivekananda College will start eligible candidates can apply on the college website and fill in their choice of program and seat allocation.
Seeking candidates for admission to Vivekananda College must register for the CUET examination first and then Delhi University’s Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS).

Vivekananda College was formally established to provide students wit career-appropriate assistance, training, and skill-set and help them make premier career choices. The committee also serves as a conduit for placement-related activities between the University of Delhi’s Central Placement Cell (CPC).
Every year they organise career counselling & orientation sessions. Students who are interested in placement, internship, or career assistance are urged to produce curriculum Vitae (CVs) that are relevant to their industry, take part in Group Discussion (GD), and prepare for personal interviews.
The Government of NCT of Delhi awards scholarships to students belonging to the reserved category and economically weaker families and low-income groups.
The following scholarships are given to the students annually. The criteria availability & amount of scholarship may be changed based on the recommendation of the institution authority.
