AEEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria: Check Age, Qualification, & Marks Details

Amrita University releases the AEEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria exam and the official exam notification. Candidates wishing to apply for the exam must examine the eligibility criteria before applying. Applicants applying for AEEE 2025 must be born on or after July 1, 2004. Besides that, candidates must have scored at least 60% aggregate in their 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (minimum 55% in each subject). Both Indian citizens and foreign nationals are eligible to apply.

The AEEE exam 2025 is scheduled to take place in two phases. Phase 1 is tentatively scheduled to be conducted in February 2025, while phase 2 will be held in May 2025 (tentatively). Candidates interested in appearing for the exam must fill out the AEEE application form.

AEEE Eligibility 2025

• Age criteria: Candidates appearing for AEEE must be born on or after July 1, 2004.
• Educational qualifications: Candidates must have achieved a minimum aggregate score of 60% in their 12th grade with physics, chemistry, and mathematics as their primary subjects. Also, the candidate must have a minimum score of 55% for each subject. 
• Nationality: Candidates appearing for AEEE 2025 must be citizens of India. However, foreign nationals are also eligible to apply for the AEEE exam. 
• JEE Main Qualification: Candidates who have qualified for the JEE Main 2025 Exam with a valid passing score are also eligible for admission to engineering programs at Amrita University.

AEEE 2025 Special Reservation Criteria:

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham offers special reservation criteria for candidates belonging to certain categories, ensuring equal opportunities for all. These criteria include relaxations in marks, age limits, and other benefits to support candidates from underrepresented sections.

• SC/ST candidates: The minimum marks are relaxed by 5%. These candidates require 50% grades in each subject rather than 55%.
• OBCs (Non-Creamy Layers) are eligible for the same relaxation as SC/ST candidates.
• PwD (Persons with Disabilities): A 5% discount is available on aggregate and individual subject marks.

AEEE 2025 Application Limitations

While the AEEE 2025 qualifying criteria are wide, there are a few constraints that candidates must understand in order to avoid confusion and ensure a smooth application process. These limitations include maximum number of attempts, age restrictions, and other application-specific requirements.

• Number of Attempts: There are no limits to the number of attempts for AEEE 2025, however candidates must meet the age and qualification requirements.
• Common misconceptions: Many candidates assume eligibility based on overall results rather than specific subject-wise grades, which can result in application rejection.

AEEE 2025 Eligibility: Country-Specific Criteria

AEEE 2025 accepts applications from both foreign and NRI candidates, providing an inclusive forum for global hopefuls. However, aspirants from outside India must meet country-specific eligibility requirements.

• International candidates must prove their eligibility using their curriculum. For example, candidates for the IB diploma must study Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as core subjects.
