BITS Pilani will release the BITSAT 2025 eligibility criteria on the official website, bitsadmission.com. The BITSAT eligibility criteria are the minimum conditions required to appear for the BITS entrance exam. Students who have passed or are appearing in the 10+2 exam from a recognised board are eligible for BITSAT 2025. Candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and have adequate proficiency in English. The authority will conduct the BITSAT exam in two sessions. Admissions through the BITSAT 2025 are purely based on merit. To decide the merit positions of students, the BITSAT 2025 scores will be considered. BITSAT 2025 General Eligibility Criteria 

Only students taking the 12th class examination in 2025 or passing the 12th class examination in 2025 can take the BITSAT-2025 test. Check below to know the BITSAT criteria for each offered course. Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements before registering for the BITSAT 2025 exam.

• Admission for B.Pharm: Candidates wanting to get enrolled in the B.Pharm program must have successfully completed the 12th grade under the 10+2 structure from an accredited State or Central board, or its equivalent with Physic, Mathematics, or Chemistry and Biology as a major (Both PCM and PCB accepted) along with a basic command of the English language.
• Admission for Other Programs (Except B.Pharm): Candidates must have passed the 12th class examination of the 10+2 structure from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry (PCM) only. Additionally, adequate English proficiency must be admitted to all Integrated First-Degree Programs, except B. Pharm.

BITSAT 2025 Detailed Eligibility Criteria 

BITSAT 2025 is an entrance examination conducted to seek admissions for various programs in the B.E., M.Sc., and B.Pharm offered at BITS Pilani, BITS Goa, and BITS Hyderabad. Candidates aspiring to join any of these courses have to satisfy eligibility criteria such as academic qualification, subject combination, and a percentage of marks secured in qualifying exams. Moreover, it is only open to students who will appear for the 12th-grade examination in 2024 or 2025. BITSAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria for Direct Admission

Highly meritorious students are often given direct admissions through the BITSAT 2025 exam. The board toppers who have ranked first in all state and central boards, BITS will acknowledge their efforts by giving them direct admission based on their 12th-grade performance. The first-ranked students in the PCM stream will be considered for admission to any first-degree program of their choosing, whereas the first-ranked students in the PCB stream will only be considered for admission to the B. Pharm. Program.

To be eligible for direct admission through BITSAT, students must:

• Topper/ first rank of the science stream from an accredited school as announced by the same board
• Should have achieved the highest aggregate percentage of score in class 12th among all other students
• Marks should be aggregated despite the subjects being identified as optional, electives, etc in the mark sheet
• They should attach valid proof of documents to support their claims. This will include their grade 10th and 12th mark sheets along with a board letter declaring the same
• In all these cases, the final decision will be made by the Vice-chancellor

BITSAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria for International Candidates

International students planning to appear for the BITSAT 2025 exam will have different requirements. Read below to know the conditions that would be required of International aspirants-

• Citizens holding passports from foreign countries will be considered International candidates.
• They should have completed a high-school-level education with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths with English as a minor.
• The county's board of education should recognise the exam results. For instance, students claiming A-level results should be acknowledged by Cambridge International.
• Applicants must have obtained 75% aggregate marks at the minimum - or 7.5 at the minimum on a 10 scale.
• In each specific subject, candidates must have scored at least 60% of the marks.
• Candidates must proclaim the minimum 1160 score in the new format of SAT, which would include a math, reasoning, and language test.
• The SAT score should be recent as older scores will not be accepted no earlier than February 1, 2021.

Additional Criteria for BITSAT 2025 Applications

• Scanning Facility: If candidates do not have scanned copies of their recent passport-size photographs, they can visit a computer centre or utilize a scanner to digitize their photographs.
