Age Limit

The candidate should not be more than 28 years of age to be eligible for the CSIR NET Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for ST/SC/Third gender/PwD/Female candidates. OBC Candidates will get 3 years of relaxation.

The upper age limit is not applicable for candidates applying for the Lectureship (LS) or Assistant Professor position.
