DASA UG Counselling 2025: The DASA 2025 will be conducted by one of the NITs. Foreign students pursuing studies in any nation, including India, and Indian students pursuing studies abroad need to apply for DASA. This is mandatory for admission to UG engineering and architecture courses in NITs, IIITs, SPAs, and CFTIs. Candidates’ admission is based on their JEE Main 2025 ranks. Foreign students are required to first apply for JEE Main 2025 and qualify with a valid score. Once the ranks are announced, they have to register for DASA counselling. Indian applicants, however, are required to apply for JoSAA counselling 2025.
DASA 2025 registration is expected to begin in June 2025 on the official website, dasanit.org. The candidates need to register using their JEE Main 2025 application number and birth date. They should provide course and institute preference while registering.
Seats will be allotted by the authorities based on JEE Main 2025 ranks and options filled. Candidates can accept, accept & upgrade, or reject the seat allotted. DASA Special Counselling Round 2025 is conducted for the vacant seats left. It is organised after internal sliding in the participating institutes. Registered candidates who have paid fees, and have not been allotted a seat in earlier rounds are the only ones eligible to attend the special round. Candidates are required to re-enter their choices as earlier-provided preferences will be canceled. Candidates who have withdrawn or rejected the seat allotted to them in previous rounds are not allowed to attend the special round. Seat allotment in this round is final, and no refund will be made to candidates who are allotted.
The DASA UG 2025 Cutoff will be published after every round of seat allotment. The cutoff will be published in the form of opening and closing ranks for different institutes and courses.
