IGNOU B.Ed. Entrance Test 2025 Eligibility
There is no age limit for admission into IGNOU’s B.Ed. program. Here are the eligibility criteria for students for appearing into their B.Ed. entrance test:
- Candidates must have completed undergraduate and or/ postgraduate degrees in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Commerce/ Humanities. The minimum qualifying mark is set as 50%.
- Must have pursued a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with Science and Mathematics specialization with 55% qualifying marks.
- Should have been trained as an in-service teacher in elementary education (or) completed an NCTE-recognized teacher education program in a face-to-face mode.
- For SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL/ PwD candidates, there is a 5% reservation and relaxation according to the Central Government rules. The reservation for EWS will be set differently as per the Central Government norms.
- The reservation for Kashmiri migrants and war widow students will be provided according to the norms of the University.
- A Master’s degree will be accepted only if the first degree is obtained for academic studies purposes by the IGNOU.
