Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research will release the JIPMER entrance exam cutoff 2025, which is used by the colleges to prepare a merit list for candidates to take admission into colleges. The JIPMER cutoff is the minimum rank required for candidates to be eligible for admission to a particular course and college at Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research.
JIPMER MBBS 2025 cutoff factors
The JIPMER authorities will consider various factors related to the entrance examination and admission process. There are some factors that will be checked by the authorities while preparing JIPMER MBBS cutoff, that are:
- The difficulty level of JIPMER
- Previous year cutoff trends
- The number of candidates appeared in the examination
- The number of candidates who qualified in the entrance examination
- The number of seats available in the colleges, in a particular course and campus.
JIPMER Counselling 2025
The candidate called for counselling have to report at the venue site at the time on the date as stipulated in the call later.
Biometric fingerprint and image verification of the candidate will be done on the day of counselling. If there is a mismatch, the candidate will not be permitted to attend the counselling apart from proceeding with legal action deemed fit by the Institution.
The candidate should submit the following certificates along with one set of self-attested copies.
- Original hall ticket with the sign and seal of the centre representative/ Invigilator.
- Rank letter
- Proof of date of birth
- Pass certificate of the qualifying examination
- Statement of marks of the qualifying examination
- Character and conduct certificate from the head of the institute last studied.
- Residence certificate issued by Revenue Authority not below the rank of Tahsildar.
- In case of Other Backward Classes/ Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe, a community certificate, recently obtained from the competent authority.
- Other backward classes (OBC) candidates should produce the required certificate as per the format in the annexure.
- Transfer certificate from the head of the institution last studied.
- Medical certificate in case of OPH candidate.
- Six passport size photographs
- Non Resident India:
- Recent NRI status certificate of the parent or candidate issued by the Indian Embassy of the respective country with the embassy seal.
- Overseas citizens of India
- Certificate of registration for overseas citizens of India.
It is mandatory for all candidates to be physically present i.e. in person for counselling on the day.
- In the counselling process, the seats to be filled by General (UR) & Orthopedically candidates (OPH) would be filled up first, wherein the candidates would be called for counselling based on merit alone irrespective of whether they belong to UR, SC, ST or OBC.
- Next, reservation categories like SC/ST/OBC Candidates will be counselled to fill up the seats earmarked for them in their respective categories.
- Then, the seats to be filled by UT of Puducherry UR/OBC/SC/OCI/NRI candidates will be counselled to fill up the seats earmarked for them in their respective categories.
