JoSAA Counselling 2025 Eligibility Criteria

JoSAA Counselling 2025 Fee Structure

There is no fee for JoSAA counselling 2025 registration. However, candidates must pay a processing fee along with the seat acceptance fee when they receive a seat allotment.

JoSAA Counselling 2025 Application Process 

Candidates need to follow these steps to register for JoSAA counselling.

Step 1: New Candidate Registration

  • Visit the official JoSAA website and click on “New Candidate Registration.”
  • Enter JEE Main 2025 Application Number, Date of Birth, Candidate’s Name, and Mother’s Name.
  • Submit the details and verify the OTP sent to the registered email and mobile number.
  • Create a password for JoSAA and proceed to log in.

Step 2: Login to the JoSAA Candidate Portal

  • Use JEE Main Application Number and JoSAA password to log in.
  • Verify details like personal information, JEE details, and category status.
  • Confirm the registration after verification.

Step 3: Choice Filling and Locking

  • Select institute types, institute names, and program names from the list.
  • Arrange choices in order of preference.
  • Lock choices before the deadline to finalize the selection.

Documents Required for JoSAA Counselling 2025 Application Process

Candidates do not need to upload documents during registration, but they must submit them after seat allotment for verification. Below is the list of documents required for different institutes.

For NITs, IIITs, IIEST, and GFTIs:

  • Class X Mark Sheet/Certificate or Aadhaar Card (for DOB verification)

At the time of registration, candidates cannot change the following details:

  • Name
  • Father’s Name
  • Mother’s Name
  • Guardian’s Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Class 12 Board
  • Birth Category

However, candidates can modify:

  • Nationality
  • Year of Passing Class 12
  • Place and Status of Passing Class 12
  • Gender

When will the registration for JoSAA 2025 start?

The registration for JoSAA 2025 will start on June 3, 2025, after the declaration of the JEE Advanced results.
