MH CET Law 2025 Application Form (CLOSED): Registration Dates, How to Apply, Fees

MH CET 2025 3-Year LLB registration opened on December 27, 2024, and closed on March 27, 2025, with a correction window from April 1–3, 2025. MH CET 2025 5-Year LLB registration started on January 3, 2025, and ended on March 27, 2025, with a correction window from April 1–3, 2025. MH CET 2025 application fee was INR 1000 for general and EWS candidates, while SC/ST/OBC candidates were required to pay INR 800. MH CET 2025 5-Year LLB exam was scheduled for April 28, 2025, and the MH CET 2025 3-Year LLB exam was conducted from May 3-4, 2025. Both exams were held in online mode across two separate sessions for admission to participating law colleges in Maharashtra.

For the 3-year LLB program, registration opened on December 27, 2024, with the last date to apply being March 27, 2025. MH CET Law 2025 Eligibility Criteria for the 5-Year LLB program

Candidates were required to meet the MH CET Law 2025 eligibility criteria to apply for the MH CET Law 2025. The admission authority did not consider applications from ineligible candidates. The eligibility criteria for the 5-Year LLB program are listed below:

• Educational Qualification: For the 5-Year LLB program, candidates must have completed their Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board. 
• Minimum Marks Required: The minimum percentage required for eligibility is 45% for candidates from the general/open category, 42% for candidates from the OBC, SBC, and VJNT categories in Maharashtra, and 40% for SC/ST candidates from Maharashtra. 
• Eligibility for Diploma Holders: Candidates who have completed a 3-year engineering diploma after Class 10 are also eligible, provided they obtain an equivalence certificate from the relevant technical board. 
• Eligibility for Appearing Candidates: Those appearing for their qualifying exams in the current academic year can also apply, but they must submit the necessary certificates at the time of admission.

MH CET Law 2025 Eligibility Criteria for the 3-Year LLB program

Candidates were required to meet the eligibility criteria to apply for the MH CET Law 2025. The admission authority did not consider applications from ineligible candidates. The eligibility criteria for the 3-Year LLB program are listed below:

Educational Qualification: For the 3-Year LLB program, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university. 

Minimum Marks Required: The minimum percentage required for eligibility is 45% for candidates from the general/open category, 42% for OBC, SBC, and VJNT categories in Maharashtra, and 40% for SC/ST candidates from Maharashtra. 

Eligibility for Final Year Candidates: Candidates in the final year of their graduation are also eligible to apply, but they must provide proof of completion of their degree during the admission process.

Steps to Fill the MH CET Law 2025 Application Form

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, conducted the MH CET Law 2025 application process for admission to the 5-Year and 3-Year LLB programmes through its official website cetcell.mahacet.org. The application form for the 5-Year LLB programme was available from January 18 to March 30, 2025, while the 3-Year LLB application window was open from January 11 to March 31, 2025.

The process involved several steps, including registration, form filling, document upload, fee payment, and final submission. Below are the steps that were to be followed to complete the MH CET Law 2025 application form.

Step 1: Visit the Official Website: Go to the official CET Cell website: cetcell.mahacet.org.

Step 2: Access the Application Portal: On the homepage, click on the "Apply Online" tab. Then, select the appropriate course link for either the 3-Year or 5-Year LLB program.

Step 3: New Registration: Click on the "Click here for New Registration" button. Enter name, email address, mobile number, and date of birth. After submission, a provisional registration number and password will be sent via email and SMS.

Step 4: Fill in the Application Form: Log in using the registration number and password. Complete the application form by entering personal details, educational qualifications, and other required information.

Step 5: Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of the photograph and signature in JPEG format, each not exceeding 50 KB. Ensure the images meet the specified dimensions:

• Photograph: 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height)
• Signature: 3.5 cm (width) x 1.5 cm (height)
  

If applicable, upload supporting documents for reserved categories or Persons with Disabilities (PwD).

Step 6: Pay the Application Fee: Proceed to make the application fee payment online. The fee structure is as follows:

• General/EWS candidates: ₹1000
• OBC/SC/ST candidates: ₹800
  

Payment can be completed through credit/debit cards, net banking, or other available online modes.

Step 7: Submit and Print the Application: Carefully review all information before final submission, as corrections may not be allowed later. After submission, download and print the application form and payment receipt for future reference.
