NEET PG 2025 Results: How to Download
PG 2025 examination will take place on 15th June 2025. By 15th July 2025, students can access their results from the NBEMS website. Students must download their scorecard within 6 months of result declaration. The result will specify the normalized scores of the candidates and candidate’s merit position. To access the result, follow the below-mentioned steps:
- Candidates must visit the official website (https://natboard.edu.in)
- At the homepage of the webpage, look for the “NEET PG Result” link.
- Click on the “NEET PG Result 2025”.

NEET PG 2025 Result Scorecard
NEET PG 2025 Scorecard will not specify the raw scores of candidates. Instead, their raw scores will be normalized and then used to prepare the NEET PG 2025 Merit List. For state-specific merit lists, the normalized score will be used, and if the state provides any incentive marks, it will only be added to these scores only. Candidates must keep this scorecard safe to appear in the NEET PG Counseling and secure a seat in the MS/ MD/ PG medical courses. To download the scorecard, consider the following steps:

Note: Students who appeared for the NEET PG 2025 examination cannot request for re-totaling, rechecking, or re-evaluation of the result.
NEET PG 2025 Results: Qualifying Criteria
NEET PG 2025 qualifying criteria refers to the score a candidate must score to become eligible for NEET PG Counseling Sessions. For example, the qualifying criteria for general category students have been set at the 50th percentile. This means that these applicants must get a score of 50% or higher among the total test takers. 50% does not specify 50% of the total marks but instead a rank-based cut-off. NEET PG 2025 Result Merit List
The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is responsible for preparing the NEET PG 2025 Merit List. The merit list will specify how well a student has performed as compared to overall candidates, candidates who are eligible for AIQ 50% quota, and category students. Refer to the description below to better understand the NEET PG 2025 merit list specifications.
- NEET PG 2025 Overall Rank: It helps determine the candidate's merit position among all the students who have appeared for the NEET PG examination in 2025. It provides a glimpse of the candidate’s overall rank among all the aspirants.
- All India 50% Quota Rank: This parameter is used to specify the overall merit position of those candidates who appeared in NEET PG 2025 and who are eligible for AIQ (All India Quota) of 50% medical seats. It is valid only for All India 50% Quota (MS/ MD/ PG) courses. Students can avail of the quota benefit only for the academic session 2025-26.
- All India 50% Quota (Category) Rank: It helps in determining the merit position of candidates among SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS category. It is also valid for only the All India 50% quota specified for MD/ MS/ PG Diploma programs.
Note: NBEMS has identified 16 centres for issuing PwD certificates. The certificate can be used to claim 5% reservation available for PwD candidates in the All India 50% Quota.
How to Challenge NEET PG 2025 Result
Candidates who appeared in the NEET PG 2025 examination cannot ask the authorities to recheck/ reevaluate/ retotal their marks. However, candidates are permitted to challenge any question for technical errors within two days of the exam.
Students cannot raise tickets (claims/ queries/ corrections) regarding the difficulty level of the exam. Candidates can raise errors specifying technical issues from 15th June 2025 till 17th June 2025.
NEET PG 2025 Results Tie-Breaking Rule
In case the NBEMS finds out that two or more candidates have obtained the same marks, a tie-breaking rule will be applied to determine their ranking position. The tie-breaking criteria will be as follows:
- If two candidates have the same normalized score, then the student with a lesser negative attempt in the entire NEET PG 2025 Question Paper will be given a higher rank.
- Following the above criteria, if the score still remains the same, the student with a lesser negative response in section A will be given a better position.
- Similarly, the student with fewer negative attempts in section B will receive a higher rank if the negative attempt in section A is also the same.
- Following the same pattern, negative responses in Section C will be considered.
- Fewer negative responses in section D of NEET PG 2025 Question Paper.
- Fewer negative responses in section E will be preferred.
- Lastly, the student with the higher aggregate percentage in all MBBS exams will be given a higher rank in the NEET PG 2025 Result.
