NEET PG 2025: NEET PG 2025 Registration is currently ongoing. The last date to apply for NEET PG 2025 is 7th May 2025. The exam will be held on 15th June 2025. The NBE (National Board of Examinations) will activate the NEET PG 2025 Admit Card link on 11th June 2025. The registration process for NEET PG 2025 started from 17th April 2025, 3:00 pm onwards. 

Candidates must appear for the NEET PG 2025 to enrol in the MD/ MS/ PG Diploma courses, Post MBBS DNS courses, NBEMS Diploma courses, and Direct 6 Years DrNB courses. Foreign nationals planning to pursue medical courses in India must also appear for the examination. NEET PG 2025 Highlights

NEET PG 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To sit for NEET PG 2025, candidates must have completed their MBBS from a recognized institution. Students who received their MBBS degree from India must follow the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:

  • Possess Provisional MBBS Certificate or completed MBBD degree.
  • Possess a Provisional/permanent registration certificate of MBBS issued by the National Medical Commission.
  • Must have completed a one-year internship on or before 31st July 2025

Foreign medical students who pursue their graduation in the medical field in a country other than India must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Possesses a medical qualification equivalent to MBBS.
  • Obtain Security Clearance from the (MHA) Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India (if required).
  • Should have qualified for the screening test (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination).
  • Completed their internship or are about to complete it on/ before 31st July 2025
  • Should have been registered with the National Medical Commission (NMC)/ State Medical Commission/ Erstwhile Medical Council of India.

NEET PG 2025 Application Process

NEET PG registration has started from 17th April 2025. The NBE will accept the NEET PG 2025 application form till 7th May 2025 by 11:55 pm. After the NEET PG application last date, the commission allows candidates to rectify any error in their application form from 9th to 13th May 2025. However, applicants cannot edit certain information such as name, email address, mobile number, test city, and nationality. 

The NEET PG application procedure begins with registration, followed by filling out the application, selecting an exam centre, uploading documents in the size and format specified by the NBE, paying the online exam fee, and printing the application form. 

How to Apply for NEET PG 2025?

The candidates can submit their application form only once. To fill out the application form, candidates should follow the steps below:

  • All candidates are required to visit the official website of the NBE board and create their online profile to generate a user ID and password.
  • Go through the application form. Fill out all the required details, including, name, qualification, gender, date of birth, nationality, and email ID.
  • After filling in all the details candidates should go through the index page of NEET-PG 2024 at NBEMS website https://nbe.edu.in/ and click on the link, “ Already registered? To Login”.
  • To complete the application form candidates are required to have a scanned image of their photograph, signature, and thumb impression.
  • After selecting the test city, the candidates are required to pay the examination fee online.

NEET PG 2025 Application Fee

NEET PG 2025 application fee differs across categories. Reserved category candidates get a fee relaxation of INR 1000. Students appearing in the exams are advised to review the fee structure thoroughly before applying.

NEET PG 2025 Exam Pattern

NEET PG 2025 Preparation Tips

NEET PG 2025 Registration has now officially started. The exam will be conducted on 15th June 2025. It is now essential that students speed up their preparation, revise continuously, and take mock tests to identify their strengths and weaknesses. Candidates can consider the following tips to boost their exam preparation and scores.

  • Create a study plan: Candidates must prepare an effective study plan and preparation strategy. As per the NEET PG 2205 prospectus, NEET PG Admit Card link will be activated from 11th June 2025 onwards. Students will be intimated about the admit card availability through Email or SMS.

Candidates can download the admit card by following the steps below:

  • Click on the NEET PG 2025 Admit Card link.
  • Enter the details such as application number, captcha, and date of birth. 
  • Tap on ‘Download Admit Card’.
  • Take a printout of the hall ticket for future reference.

NEET PG Answer Key 2025

NBE does not publish any official answer key for NEET PG exam. To maintain confidentiality NEET Question paper is not released. Candidates have to sign an NDA before appearing in the exam. However, some coaching institutes release an unofficial answer key. Candidates can check their answers from their test to estimate their scores.

How to Calculate Score through NEET PG Answer Key?

Candidates appearing in the test can calculate their score by following the method below:

  • Aspirants should be awarded with +4 for every correct answer.
  • -1 will be deducted for incorrect answers.
  • 0 marks will be deducted for unanswered questions.

NEET PG 2025 Results

NEET PG 2025 Cutoff

NEET PG 2025 Counselling Process

In India, NEET PG Counseling Process falls under the authority of Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), DGHS. NBEMS has no role in organising the counseling session for qualified NEET PG 2024 candidates. The NEET PG 2025 counselling procedure is critical for gaining a seat at a particular medical college. Here's a step-by-step guide to understanding the procedure:

Registration for Counselling

  • Visit the official counselling website (mcc.nic.in for AIQ counselling).
  • Candidates must register by providing their NEET PG 2025 roll number, application number, and other information.
  • Pay your registration fee (if applicable).

Document Verification

Before attending the counselling session, candidates must have the following documents:

  • NEET PG 2025 Admit Card, Rank Letter, and Mark Sheets for 10th and 12th Grades.
  • NEET PG 2025 Scorecard: Category Certificate (if applicable).
  • Photographs (passport size)
  • ID proof (passport, Aadhaar card, etc.)
  • Migration certificate (if applicable)

Choice Filling and Locking

  • Candidates can select multiple options, but they must lock their selections once they are finalised.
  • Changes cannot be changed after submission, so double-check your choices carefully before locking them.

Seat Allocation Procedure

  • Following choice filling and locking, seat allocation will be based on the candidate's rank, preferences, and seat availability.
  • Candidates will be assigned seats according to their category (General, OBC, SC, ST) and merit.
  • The official website contains seat allotment results.

Report to the Allotted College

  • Once a seat is assigned, candidates must download the allotment letter.
  • Candidates must report to the college for document verification and admission within the time frame specified.
  • Admission costs must be paid, and all other requirements must be met.

Counselling Schedule

  • The NEET PG 2025 counselling schedule will be available on the official counselling website.
  • Candidates must stay up to date on critical dates such as registration deadlines, choice filling periods, and seat allocation announcements.

NEET PG 2025 FAQs

If a student mistakenly enters the wrong information in their NEET PG application form, they can edit the details from 9th May to 13th May 2025. Candidates are also given additional time to rectify their mistakes; however, this is only available when changing thumb impressions, signatures, or photographs.

600 and above marks in NEET PG 2025 will be considered a good score for a seat in decent medical colleges in India. However, a good score depends on factors such as the branch you are enrolling in, reservation, state quota, etc.

Students cannot be admitted to MD/ MS courses through NEET PG scores at specific colleges. These colleges are AIIMS New Delhi and other AIIMS colleges, NIMHANS Bengaluru, PGIMER Chandigarh, JIPMER Puducherry, and Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum.

Students can access demo tests from the website (https://natboard.edu.in) to familiarise themselves with the computer-based NEET PG test. The test helps students to get familiar with the features and functioning of the actual exam.

If a candidate misses the deadline to fill out the NEET PG 2025 application form, they will not be eligible to appear for the examination and must wait for next year's exam. However, candidates can fill out the form if the application date is extended.

To appear for the NEET PG 2025, candidates must have completed their MBBS degree or received a provisional MBBS pass certificate. In addition, candidates must have completed 12 months of compulsory resident internship on/ before 31st July 2025.

There is no upper age limit for students intending to appear for NEET PG. Thus, candidates of any age group can sit for the NEET PG examination and get enrolled in MD/ MS/ PG medical courses.

NEET PG counselling process involves four rounds through which qualified students are allocated seats in medical colleges. For this, candidates have to provide their preferences for courses and colleges.

The application fee for NEET PG differs per the applicant's caste category. Candidates belonging to General, EWS, and OBC are required to pay the sum INR 3500. For SC/ ST/ PH candidates, the fee is INR 2500.
