NID DAT 2025 Application Process: The application window for NID DAT 2025 closed on December 6, 2024, by 11 am. The correction window of the NID 2025 application was from December 6 to December 11, 2024, up to 2 pm. Candidates were allowed to change a few details during this period in their respective application forms. The application form for NID DAT 2025 has an application fee of INR 3,000.

To submit the application for NID DAT 2025, candidates were asked to register and create an applicant account. Following registration, they are logged in to the account, where all necessary fields have been addressed, required documents submitted, and the admission fee paid. Applications that satisfy the eligibility criteria for NID DAT 2025 will be selected by the officials of NID for further consideration in the next admission round. The NID application form is used for admissions into the B. Des and M. Des programs offered by the colleges affiliated to NID. The NID DAT 2025 was held on 5th January 2025.

Some of the important points must be noted by the NID applicants concerning the NID application form fee.

The NID DAT 2025 application process has already concluded. Candidates followed by the given steps below to apply for the NID DAT 2025 exam. Step 1: Online Registration- Candidates must visit the official website of NID. They need to look for the registration portal and click on it. Students must enter all the necessary details on the page, such as the name of the candidate, course name, and other personal information. Now, they can click on the submit tab after entering all the required information. The screen will display the newly created login credentials, which the candidates must make a note of.

Step 2: Login Procedure- Candidates must enter their email ID and other important credentials, including the verification code. They must click on the submit tab. Now, they can start filling the NID application form 2025 after submission.

Step 3: NID 2025 Application Form Filling- They must enter their personal details, educational qualification information, address, etc, in the NID DAT 2025 application form. The candidates must note that all the details provided by them in NID DAT admission form 2025 must be authentic, and to the best of their knowledge. Now, they can click on the tab specifying "Save and proceed to upload the documents" tab, after entering all the details.

Step 4: Document Uploading: Students must start uploading the required documents as per the mentioned specifications. They can proceed to the next step after uploading the documents.

Step 6: Printout of NID DAT Application Form 2025- After successful payment, candidates can check the confirmation status along with the NID DAT 2025 application form will be displayed on the screen. They must print the displayed form for future reference.

Documents Required to Fill NID DAT 2025 Application Form 

The documents required to be uploaded with NID application form 2025 are listed below for the candidate’s reference:

• They need to upload a scanned recent passport photograph as per the instructions. It should be professionally taken at a studio and must be coloured. Photographs with self-composed portraits will not be accepted as an attachment to the NID DAT admission form 2025.
• The digitally scanned and cropped photograph of the candidates' signatures must be uploaded. 
• Candidates belonging to the OBC-NCL category are required to submit their caste category certificate for availing reservation. The date of the issue of the OBC-NCL certificate should be Apr 1, 2018 or later. 
• Candidates belonging to SC and ST categories are required to submit their caste category certificate for availing reservation.
• If they belong to the PwD category are required to submit their disability certificates, which are issued by proper medical authorities, for availing of reservation.
• Students belonging to the overseas category are required to submit scanned copies of the front and back of their passports, clearly showing all their personal information. 

Specifications for Uploading Images on NID Application Form 2025

The images to be uploaded along with the NID application form 2025 must be appropriately uploaded as per the below-mentioned specifications. Students must note the required size of the files and the formats, based on the image to be attached with the NID admission form 2025 are stated below:

• Caste category certificate images should be in JPG or JPEG format, and the file size should not be more than 150 KB.
• The images of the photograph and the signature should have a file size of 50 to 100 KB each, and the format should be JPG or JPEG.
• PWD category certificate must be in JPG/JPEG format and should not exceed 150 KB in size.
• Overseas certificates must also be in JPG/JPEG format and should not exceed 150 KB in size.
• For PhD, the no-objection certificate should be in PDF format and the file size should not exceed 1 MB.
• Other documents should also be in PDF format and the file size should be less than 5 MB.

NID DAT 2025 Application Form Correction Window 

The NID DAT 2025 Application Correction Window was open from December 06, 2024, to December 11, 2024. Candidates will be able to make changes to their application forms through the correction window that will be provided by the exam authorities. They should be aware that they will not be able to make changes related to their emails, birth dates, reservation categories, eligibility, etc. The following are the steps involved in editing NID DAT application form 2025:

• Students should enter the credentials on the login page of the NID website.
• Their application form will be displayed in the same window.
• They can make changes in the edit box provided in the form of a registration form.
• After making changes, candidates must click on the save and exit tabs given on the page. 

How to Edit NID Application Form 2025?

Candidates were provided with a window for correction of NID 2025 application form for Prelims. The application form can be edited and changes can be made accordingly. It is important to know that NID application form 2025 for correction will only be opened to make changes for a limited time, hence, candidates should correct within the deadline.

By entering their email address and date of birth, they will be able to check and edit their NID admission forms for 2025. There are certain details on which the candidates cannot make any edits, such as:

• Email ID
• Nationality
• Eligibility

NID DAT 2025 Admit Card Information 

The NID DAT 2025 Admit card for prelims was released on December 24, 2024 to January 05, 2025. The NID DAT 2025 prelims exam was held and concluded on January 05, 2025. The NID DAT 2025 Mains exam for B.Des and M.Des is scheduled for April 26 to May 04, 2025 and March 03 to April 06, 2025, respectively. The NID DAT Mains Admit card for B.Des and M.Des programs will be released on April 14, 2025 and February 24, 2025, respectively. Candidates must remember to take a printout of their admit card and carry it on the DAT exam day. Failure to do so may result in disqualification of the candidate immediately.
