After the 2024 test procedure is completed, the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education will announce the RTET (Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test), also known as REET, notification for 2025. The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (RBSE) conducts the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) or Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (RTET). The state-level REET test is held for both Level 1 and Level 2 papers. REET Level 1 is for Primary Teachers who wish to teach Classes 1–5, whereas Level 2 is for Upper Primary Teachers who want to teach Classes 6–8. Those who want to teach in Grades 1–8 must take both levels of exams.To be able to teach classes 1 through 8 in Rajasthan schools, candidates must pass the REET test in 2025.

The RTET has no upper age limit for the exam. Anyone who meets the educational requirements for the REET exam can take the exam. However, candidates for the RTET exam must be at least 18 years old.
