RUET 2025 information – Overview of RUET 2025 Exam

Rama University conducts its Rama University Entrance Test (RUET) every year to help students get admitted into its various courses. These courses include undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and PhD programs that fall under the domains of streams like Medical Science, Engineering, Law, Nursing, among others. RUET happens to be a national-level exam, which means that students throughout the country can participate.

The exam is usually conducted through multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and the offline test is provided by pen and paper mode. The time duration to attempt the test varies for the UG, PG course that is 2 hours; for PhD, it will be 3 hours. A student may get admission after crossing the test phase; one or more stages of the PI or GD are available in this scenario.

The RUET 2025 admission test for first-year B.Sc Engineering courses is scheduled to be held on February 20, 2025. The Admission process is conducted by one of the premier engineering institutions in Bangladesh, Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET).

The important dates of RUET 2025 need to be kept in mind, along with all the deadlines so that candidates can prepare for the admission test accordingly. RUET 2025 Application Process

Candidates should carefully read the instructions before filling up the RUET 2025 Application Form. The RUET 2025 Application Form will be available on the online platform. Authorities will release the RUET 2025 Application Form on January 4, 2025. Applicants must ensure eligibility before applying for the same.

The application form shall be filled with personal, academic, and contact details; among other informationrmation that could be required. The application will require the uploading of scanned copies of passport size photographs and signatures in specifications and format.

Applicants need to carefully go through all the informationrmation that has been put into the application form as there might not be any correction facility available later on. The registration process must be completed by January 14, 2025. Once the application is filled up, candidates must save a copy for their record.

Application Fee

The application fee for 2025 RUET examination for all categories is INR 2,000. An applicant can make online payments using a debit card, credit card, or UPI. Concession in application fees will not be given to reserved category applicants.

How to Apply for RUET 2025?

Applying for RUET 2025 calls for the subsequent steps:

Under Graduate Program

• Eligibility: Students have to be eligible by clearing the H.S.C exam.
• Application Form: The students have to download the application form from the website of the university or have to collect it from the notice board of the college
• Application Submission: As the admission schedule has been published and as the policy is of the admission committee, candidates have to submit their completely filled application.
• Application Scrutiny: Applications will be scrutinized based on the highest sum of grade points achieved in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English in the H.S.C exam.
• Priority List: A prioritized list will be created, which will include 10 times the number of available seats in the college for the admission test.
• Valid Applicants List: The list of valid applicants who are eligible for the admission test will be displayed on the notice board and website of the university.
• Roll Number & Form Number: Candidates must note down their Roll number and Form number for the admission test and for future reference.
• Admission Test: Candidates must report on the date mentioned to attend the combined admission test.
• Departmental Allocation: After the admission test, the departmental allocation will be done based on the merit position of the candidates and their preference.

Post Graduate Program

• Admission Advertisement: Candidates must see the admission advertisement in the website of the university at www.ruet.ac.bd, which is published every April and October.
• Complete Application Form: Candidates are supposed to fill up the prescribed application form and submit the same either online or offline according to the guidelines issued.
• Application Scrutiny: The admission committee of the concerned department will scrutinize all the applications received with utmost care.
• Written/ Oral Test: The department may hold a written and/or oral test for the eligible candidates.
• Selection List: The admission committee will prepare the final list of selected candidates on the basis of the test.
• Admission Registration: The students selected will have to register for admission within the given timeframe and also pay the needed amount.
• Eligibility of Foreign Students: The eligibility committee shall examine the qualification of the foreign students.
• Updates in Admission Procedure: The Academic Council may update the admission procedure based on the recommendations of the respective department's admission committee.

RUET 2025 Exam Pattern

The test will be of multiple choice containing 120 questions on following subjects/ topic in single question Booklet:-

• General English: Candidates have to answer 20 questions based on the level of 10+2 standard. The test would be on the basis of English Grammar as it is designed to analyze the ability of the candidate in paragraph comprehension, sentence correction, word power- meaning, synonym, antonym and tense etc.
• General Awareness & Numerical Ability : 20 questions would assess the awareness of applicants for routine national and international issues-pictures, sports, science, technology, etc., developments in those fields. Eminence in the world (politics, arts and literature, science and sports, etc.).
• Subject: The candidate will have to answer 80 questions testing the basic knowledge of the subject of the qualifying examination.

Filling of OMR Sheet

• The candidate will be given an OMR answer sheet along with a question booklet in the examination hall.
• It is to be filled by a blue or black ball pen on an OMR sheet.

Duration Of Test

The test will be of two hours duration.

Disqualifying & Cancellation Of Candidature

• The hall entry to appear for the examination will require a valid Admit Card.
• All the Applicants will be searched and frisked before entering.
• Mobile phones, electronic devices, or any other items that might help in cheating are not allowed.
• Candidates found using inappropriate means, like copying or unauthorized electronic devices, will be disqualified.
• The candidature of the candidate will be canceled if found violating these rules.
• It is important to adhere to these guidelines to ensure the integrity and fairness of the examination process for all participants.

Test Results

Test results shall be displayed on the university website.

RUET 2025 Syllabus

The RUET syllabus for the 2025 exam is divided into thirds with constituent parts being distinguished according to the marks given. In the following manner, the syllabus for the RUET entrance exam 2025, RAMA University shows it:

• Classes up to 10 have UP Secondary Board, whereas classes 11 and 12 follow the syllabi of Higher Senior Secondary & Senior Secondary. In all, these compose the RUET 2025 pattern of the undergraduate study program.
• This exam is actually meant to admit persons to different programs, and as a result, the content of what has been taught over this period is different for each group because there must be consideration for those coming from the arts or science streams, commerce or even those who did agriculture as their major at secondary school.
• The syllabus for the RUET 2025 PG programs would decide on the content of the question pattern, which will be as per Class 12 and graduation programs offered by the applicant institute.

Syllabus Content

Each candidate will be administered to pass a General English as language and informationrmation survey, and a survey of numerical aptitude. Subject portion of the examination shall be different according to study programs for which applicants applied for.

RUET 2025 Admit card

The admit cards for the respective examinations of the RUET 2025 Exam will be available on the official website of the university, which is RAMA University Official Website. The dates are provided for both UG and PG programs and are in the First week of June. If you have applied through the offline mode, applicants receive the admit card through the post a few days before the exam date. In this case, the admit card would either be sent to the mail or from the official website of Rama University using the unique ID number and password by applying online.

RUET 2025 Results

The result for RUET entrance exams is scheduled to be announced in the last week of August for UG programs and in the second week of September for PG programs. Applicants will be able to access the results on the official website of RAMA University: ramauniversity.ac.in. RUET The result will be sent directly to the email of the candidate. In order to get the admission in RAMA University, the candidates have to download their results from the official website.

RUET 2025: Previous Year Cut Off

Those students will progress to the next round of their selection who have got more than the specified RUET cut-off marks for the year 2024. The rolling roll cut-off marks of RUET 2024 are provided below.

RUET 2025: Counseling Process

The counseling starts when the RUET result will come. The shortlisted applicants names with their counseling date and time would be published in RAMA University's website following which counseling will be carried on rank-wise. All such short-listed applicants accompanied with their parents or guardians need to participate in counselling.

Following documents will be submitted to the counseling committee while Counseling:-

• Class 10th Marksheet or its equivalent examination certificate and mark sheet.
• Class 12th Certificate or equivalent examination certificate and marks sheet.
• Graduation Certificate and marksheet as per the eligibility of the program applied.
• Character certificate from the school/college where the applicant last attended.
• Reserved category proof/certificate issued by the competent authority.
• Income certificate as per the prescribed norms.
• Transfer certificate issued by the school or college where the applicant passed the qualifying exam.
• Migration certificate issued by the last attended college/ institution/ university.
