SLAT 2025 Exam Pattern: Symbiosis International University (SIU) conducts the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) for admission into its UG law courses, like BA LLB and BBA LLB degrees. This national-level test is conducted online and consists of 60 multiple-choice questions which must be completed within 60 minutes (1 hour). The test measures candidates' abilities in the five critical areas of Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, and General Knowledge. The SLAT 2025 was conducted on December 13 and 15, 2024, in two different phases. SLAT 2025 Marking Scheme

The SLAT exam follows a simple and transparent marking scheme:

  • 1 mark is awarded for each correct answer.
  • No negative marking for incorrect answers.
  • No marks deduction for unattempted questions.
  • The final result is prepared out of 60 marks based on the total correct answers.

1. SLAT (Symbiosis Law Admission Test)

  • It is a computer-based test (CBT) which is conducted in online mode.
  • The test has a total of 60 marks, but the scores are reduced to 50 for final assessment.

2. SLAT WAT (Written Ability Test)

  • The candidates have to write an essay on a specific topic.

How tough is the SLAT 2025 exam?
