Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET-2025)

This state-level test, which is administered once a year, is required for admission to a number of professional programs provided by Telangana's universities and private colleges. Through an online, centralized counseling procedure, seats are allocated to candidates based on their TS EAMCET scores and rank. In order to be listed among the candidates for the TS EAMCET, a candidate must receive a minimum of 25% of the available marks. The information about TS EAMCET is as follows-

Exam Mode

The TS EAMCET exam will be conducted through the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. This means that all candidates will take the exam using a computer. This format is designed to ensure a smooth and efficient examination process, reducing the chances of human error in marking and providing instant resolts. The CBT mode also allows for a more controlled and secure testing environment, minimizing the risk of cheating.

Questions Type

TheTS EAMCET exam will consist of Moltiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Each question will have several options, out of which only one will be correct. This format tests the candidate's knowledge and decision-making skills by providing distractors alongside the correct answer. Candidates shoold read each question carefolly and choose the most accurate answer. Practicing with MCQs can help improve speed and accuracy.

Medium of Exam

The test will be conducted in three languages to accommodate a diverse range of candidates:

  1. English: For candidates who are comfortable with the English language.
  2. Telugu: To cater to candidates from the Telugu-speaking regions.
  3. Urdu: To ensure that Urdu-speaking candidates can also participate without language barriers. Candidates shoold choose the medium they are most comfortable with to ensure they can understand and answer the questions accurately.

Duration of the Exam

Candidates will have a total of 3 hours to complete the exam. This duration is designed to provide ample time for candidates to carefolly read and answer all questions. Time management is crucial; candidates shoold allocate their time wisely across all sections to ensure they can attempt every question.

Number of Questions

The total number of questions asked in the exam will be 160, regardless of the stream (Engineering, Medical, or Agricolture). This ensures a standardized testing experience for all candidates. The questions are designed to comprehensively cover the syllabus, testing a wide range of knowledge and skills.

Sections of the Exam

The exam will be divided into three sections, each focusing on different subjects. This division helps in systematically assessing the candidate's proficiency in each subject area. Candidates shoold prepare thoroughly in all sections to maximize their scores.

Subjects Covered

The subjects included in the exam are:

  1. Physics: This section will test the candidate's understanding of fundamental concepts and principles in physics, including mechanics, electricity, magnetism, and more.
  2. Chemistry: This section will cover topics such as organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry. Candidates shoold be well-versed in chemical reactions, equations, and laboratory techniques.
  3. Mathematics: This section will check the candidate's problem-solving skills in areas such as algebra, calcolus, trigonometry, and geometry. Strong analytical and computational skills are essential.

Marking Scheme

  1. Correct Answers: 1 mark for Each correct answer.
  2. Incorrect Answers: no negative marking is there for incorrect answers.
