BITS Pilani will release the BITSAT 2025 eligibility criteria on the official website, bitsadmission.com. The BITSAT eligibility criteria are the minimum conditions required to appear for the BITS entrance exam. Students who have passed or are appearing in the 10+2 exam from a recognised board are eligible for BITSAT 2025. Candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and have adequate proficiency in English. The authority will conduct the BITSAT exam in two sessions. Admissions through the BITSAT 2025 are purely based on merit. To decide the merit positions of students, the BITSAT 2025 scores will be considered. Only students taking the 12th class examination in 2025 or passing the 12th class examination in 2025 can take the BITSAT-2025 test. Check below to know the BITSAT criteria for each offered course. Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements before registering for the BITSAT 2025 exam.
BITSAT 2025 is an entrance examination conducted to seek admissions for various programs in the B.E., M.Sc., and B.Pharm offered at BITS Pilani, BITS Goa, and BITS Hyderabad. Candidates aspiring to join any of these courses have to satisfy eligibility criteria such as academic qualification, subject combination, and a percentage of marks secured in qualifying exams. Moreover, it is only open to students who will appear for the 12th-grade examination in 2024 or 2025. A detailed table presenting the eligibility criteria for each of the programs under BITSAT 2025 is presented in the following table.

Common Conditions | - Students must appear for their 12th-grade examination in 2024 or 2025, with results available by June 30, 2025. - Students retaking 12th-grade exams for improvement or a full set of subjects (in 2024/2025) are also eligible, provided results are submitted by June 30, 2025. - If multiple attempts are made, the latest performance will be considered. |
Highly meritorious students are often given direct admissions through the BITSAT 2025 exam. The board toppers who have ranked first in all state and central boards, BITS will acknowledge their efforts by giving them direct admission based on their 12th-grade performance. The first-ranked students in the PCM stream will be considered for admission to any first-degree program of their choosing, whereas the first-ranked students in the PCB stream will only be considered for admission to the B. Pharm. Program.

BITSAT Application Form 2025 Candidates can fill out the form on their computer or laptop, provided they have equipment that is up to the mark in specifications. The expected BITSAT 2025 cutoff ranges are 153-331 for Pilani, 205-295 for Goa, and 135-284 for Hyderabad.
Students appearing for the 12th class examination in 2024 or passing the 12th Examination in 2023 are only eligible to appear in the BITSAT 2024 test. Students who have passed the 12th examination in 2022 or earlier are NOT eligible to appear in BITSAT 2025.
Minimum 75% in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and 60% in each subject individually.
BITSAT questions are more straightforward than JEE Main and require the recollection of the appropriate formulae. The questions asked in JEE Main are more conceptual and require deep knowledge of concepts and techniques.
The average BITSAT score hovers around 250-280. Scoring around this range indicates a decent performance and opens up chances for less competitive branches or campuses. However, securing your dream program might require aiming higher.
For top branches, students should target scores between 370-380. Generally, an average score for BITSAT 2025 is expected to be above 300. For admission into other branches, a score of 290+ is considered sufficient.
