The application process for the Centralised Counselling for MSc/MSc (Tech) or CCMN 2025 is anticipated to start in the fourth week of May 2025, tentatively. The CCMN 2025 application and registration process is completely online. Applicants need to use IIT JAM 2025 registration credentials to complete the registration process for CCMN 2025. CCMN Registration fees 2025 have changed, for UR, EWS and OBC categories earlier it was INR 3,000 but now it is INR 3,500 while for SC/ST/PwD it was INR 2,500 but now it will be INR 3,000.

CCMN 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The CCMN 2025 eligibility criteria for participating in the counselling process:
- Candidates must have appeared for the IIT JAM 2025 and have a valid score
- Candidates belonging to General, General-Economically Weaker Section (Gen-EWS) and OBC categories should have passed BSc or an equivalent course with at least 6.5 CGPA or 60 per cent aggregate and those belonging to reserved categories (SC, ST, PWD) should obtain 6.0 CGPA or 55 percent aggregate
- Candidates in the final year of their qualifying degree are also eligible to apply, provided they submit the final mark sheet by September 30, 2025.
- For certain programmes in a few Participating Institutes, special eligibility criteria are applicable
- The candidates who possess certificates/qualifications from any of the professional societies (such as The Institution of Engineers (India) (IE), The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), The Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI), The Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers, including Polymer and Environmental Group (IIChemE), The Indian Institute of Metals (IIM), The Indian Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE), etc. ) and have enrolled with these institutions with permanent recognition up to May 31, 2014, may also be eligible to participate in some of the PG programs, offered through CCMN-2025, as per the eligibility criteria of respective PIs.
How to Register for CCMN 2025
Eligible candidates need to follow the below steps to complete the CCMN 2025 registration process.
- Visit the official website of CCMN 2025 or enter ccmn.admissions.nic.in at an updated web browser
- Click on the ‘Online Registration and Choice Filling’ tab
- Candidates registering for the first time should click on ‘New Candidate Registration’ on this page
- They have to enter the personal and IIT JAM such as:
- Name
- JAM Registration ID
- JAM Exam Year
- JAM Exam Paper
- JAM marks out of 100
- After filling in these details, they will have to enter the captcha or the security pin
- Click on the ‘Submit’ tab
- The next step is the pay the CCMN 2025 registration fee
- Upon completing the fee payment process, candidates will have to complete the rest of the CCMN 2025 application process by entering the academic details, uploading documents and choice filling process

What is the Seat Acceptance Fee in CCMN 2025?
Once a seat is allotted in CCMN counselling to the students, they need to deposit INR 15,000/- (for GEN/OBC/GEN-EWS) and INR 10,000/- (for SC/ST/PwD) towards Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF). After this applicants need to upload the required documents and submit their willingness as per the procedure. This SAF amount will later be adjusted in the total fee to be deposited for the allotted institute.
If I apply for CCMN and fail to secure the minimum marks, will my registration fee be returned?
No. The Registration fee of CCMN is non-refundable. If applicants do not secure the minimum marks/CGPA, their seat allotment would be cancelled even if they are provisionally admitted to a specific institute. Hence students are advised to ensure that they are fulfilling all the necessary parameters before filling the CCMN 2025 application form.
When will the application process of CCMN 2025 start?
CCMN Application form for the counselling process will be out in the fourth week of May 2025, tentatively. Candidates can complete the CCMN 2025 registration process in multiple stages, it is not required to complete it in one go. However, applicants must ensure that they save each section of the CCMN application form before closing the website or logging out for the time being. After the CCMN registration is done, students need to download the applicantion's receipt for future reference.

Every year different organising bodies organize CCMN counselling. The information brochure of CCMN 2024 is out in the second week of May 2025, tentatively. What are the application fees for CCMN 2025?
