AILET eligibility criteria 2025 is necessary to secure a seat during the counselling process as well as to complete the AILET 2025 application form. All documents related to the AILET 2025 eligibility requirements for BA LLB, LLM, and PhD in Law programs are validated by the exam authorities. Applicants for undergraduate or graduate programs must meet the following common eligibility requirements for the AILET exam: 

  • As applicable to the courses, candidates should have earned the minimum qualifying score and certificates.
  • Candidates should have a certificate from the appropriate authority confirming that they are applying under a reserved category. 
  • Candidates who fall into the PwD category must get a medical certificate from a medical authority certifying that they have a disability of 40% or more in order to qualify.

AILET Eligibility Criteria 2025: BA LLB Programme

  • Candidates must have passed the ICSE, CBSE, or CISCE state or National Board of Education's class 12 exam or an equivalent examination.
  • Candidates who fall into the General or OBC category must have received 45% of the total score in the Class 12 exam.
  • If they provide the necessary documentation as evidence, members of the SC, ST, or PwD categories may be eligible for a 5% reduction in the minimum qualifying score. They are qualified for AILET 2025 if their scores are 40% or above.
  • Candidates from any other category than SC, ST, and PwD are not eligible for a reduction of the minimal score. 
  • When completing the AILET 2025 application form, candidates may indicate that they are taking their Class 12 exams and that the results are still pending. Their eligibility will be considered when they present the documentation for their qualifying Class 12 exams during counselling.

AILET Reservation for BA LLB Programme

The AILET 2025 BA LLB reservation criteria are listed in the table below:

AILET BA LLB Waiver Eligibility Criteria 2025

Only applicants who receive 65% or more in Class 12 or an equivalent exam and fall under the OCI, PIO, or Foreign Nationals category are eligible to sit for the AILET exam. Apart from this, no applicant will be granted admission to any law course offered by the law university without taking the AILET 2025 exam.

AILET Eligibility Criteria 2025: LLM Programme

The following AILET eligibility requirements must be met by applicants wishing to apply to NLU Delhi's LLM program: 

  • A three- or five-year LLB degree or an equivalent legal degree certificate should have been obtained by candidates from an accredited university. 
  • They should have received at least 50% of the overall score in the overall degree exams.
  • SC, ST, and PwD candidates have been given a 5% mark relaxation, meaning they should receive 45% in the degree exam.

AILET Reservation for LLM Programme

The AILET 2025 LLM reservation criteria are listed in the table below:

AILET LLM Waiver Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates in the OCI, PIO, and Foreign Nationals categories are not required to appear in AILET 2025. To guarantee a seat in the LLM course, they must, however, meet the academic eligibility criteria for AILET 2025.

AILET Eligibility Criteria 2025: PhD Programme

To be considered for admission to NLU Delhi's PhD program in law, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements in AILET 2025: 

  • Candidates should have completed their graduation with an LLM or an equivalent degree from a recognised university.
  • To qualify for AILET 2025, they need to have received 55% on the LLM degree's overall exams. 
  • Members of the SC, ST, and PwD categories must have obtained at least 50% of the total scores in their qualifying degree.

AILET PhD Waiver Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates from other countries are not required to take the AILET 2025 exam and can be admitted directly.
