The National Law University Delhi will administer the AILET 2025 exam on Sunday, December 8, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM for admission to UG/ PG and PhD programs. For admission to law programs at the undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and doctorate (PhD) levels, National Law University, Delhi (NLU Delhi) administers the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET). This national entrance exam is held for candidates who want to enrol in NLU Delhi's law programs. The exam will be conducted in a pen-and-paper mode at the specified test centre and interested students should complete the AILET 2025 application process to enrol.

AILET Eligibility Criteria 2025 

The AILET eligibility criteria 2025 are necessary to secure a seat during the counselling process and complete the AILET 2025 application form. The exam authorities validate all documents related to the AILET 2025 eligibility requirements for BA LLB, LLM, and PhD in Law programs.

Programme Eligibility Criteria
BA LLB Programme Candidates must have passed the ICSE, CBSE, or CISCE state or National Board of Education's class 12 exam or an equivalent examination. Candidates who fall into the General or OBC category must have received 45% of the total score in the Class 12 exam. If they provide the necessary documentation as evidence, members of the SC, ST, or PwD categories may be eligible for a 5% reduction in the minimum qualifying score. They are qualified for AILET 2025 if their scores are 40% or above. Candidates from any category other than SC, ST, and PwD are not eligible for a reduction of the minimum score. 
LLM Programme A three- or five-year LLB degree or an equivalent legal degree certificate should have been obtained by candidates from an accredited university.  They should have received at least 50% of the overall score in the overall degree exams. SC, ST, and PwD candidates have been given a 5% mark relaxation, meaning they should receive 45% in the degree exam.

AILET Application Form 2025

It is anticipated that the AILET application process will open in August 2025. The deadline for completing the AILET application form 2025 will be announced by National Law University, Delhi, via its official website, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. To prevent a last-minute rush, candidates need to understand the application process fully. 

The process to apply for the AILET exam 2025 is listed below:

  • To begin, click the "Register" button on the AILET official website.
  • Enter the candidate's name, phone number, and email address in the registration forms.
  • After submitting, the candidate will receive a User ID and password through email and phone number.
  • Re-enter the website with the password and User ID.
  • Choose the preferred exam location, include the contact and qualifying details, and state any reservations if applicable.
  • The final step is to pay the exam fee, which can be done online or offline, depending on the candidate's preferences.
  • Don't forget to save the payment receipt to prevent any problems and for future reference.

AILET Admit Card 2025

The AILET admit card will be made available on the National Law University's (NLU) official website, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The admit card is expected to be tentatively issued in November 2025. Applicants can download their admission cards by going to the website and entering their AILET application number and password. Candidates must take the actions listed below in order to download their AILET hall ticket:

  • Check out NLU Delhi's official website at http://www.nludelhi.ac.in. 
  • The AILET Admissions button should be selected.
  • Select "Already Registered?" "Login" button.
  • Candidates will be taken to the login screen, where they must enter the AILET application number and password.
  • Press the "Login" button.
  • The AILET admit card can be viewed, downloaded, saved, and printed.

AILET 2025 Exam Pattern

The AILET 2025 exam pattern and application form will be released by the National Law University Delhi. According to the AILET exam pattern from the previous year, the exam lasted 120 minutes and consisted of three sections: English, Current Affairs & General Knowledge, and Logical Reasoning. The AILET LLM question paper did not include descriptive sections.

The BA LLB question paper for the AILET exam will have a total of 120 questions. The exam pattern of AILET 2025 for the BA LLB programme is given in the table below:

AILET Syllabus 2025

Candidates must be familiar with the AILET 2025 syllabus for their particular law study in order to perform well on the test. For admission to BA LLB (Hons.), LLM, and PhD programs in law, the National Law University (NLU), Delhi, administers the AILET exam. The AILET syllabus 2025 for BA LLB comprises three sections: Legal Reasoning, Current Affairs & General Knowledge, and English Language. The fundamental law subjects are covered in the AILET 2025 syllabus for the LLM course. The AILET LLM question paper will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions. These questions will come from various legal disciplines.

National Law University (NLU) Delhi has issued the category-wise AILET 2025 cutoff for BA LLB, BCom LLB and LLM courses. The minimum score required to get admitted to the National Law University Delhi via the All India Law Entrance Test is known as the AILET cutoff. Soon after the results are announced, the AILET 2025 cutoff will be made public.
