The National Testing Agency (NTA) is the conducting body of the JEE Main 2025 examination. NTA conducts the JEE Main examination twice every year i.e., in two sessions January and April. JEE Main 2025 is a national level entrance examination which allows admission to students into India’s prestigious institutes which offers B.E./ B.Tech/B.Plan/B.Arch courses. JEE Main 2025: Application Form and Fees
The JEE Main 2025 Application Form is expected to be released from November 2024 via online mode. The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 Registration is expected to start from the 1st week of November 2024. The application form submission portal will remain open till 2nd week of December 2024. Candidates will need to visit the official website to fill up the application form and upload necessary documents such as passport size photo, scanned signature etc. Candidates will also get the chance to make changes in their respective JEE Main application form through the Application Correction Facility. Aspirants can only fill up only one Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 application form, as more applications of a single candidate will be rejected immediately.
Steps to Apply for JEE Main 2025
Candidates can follow the below outlined steps to apply for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 Examination. The steps are as follows -
- Visit the official website.
- Login using login credentials.
- Then enter the application number and password to login.
- Fill the application form and upload required documents such as scanned photograph, signature & PwD certificate.
- Upload the scanned photograph and signature in correct form and size.
- Recheck the details filled in the form and then submit the application form along with payment of the requisite fees.
- Save, download and take a print out of the confirmation page till the admission procedure completes.
Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 Application Fee. The requisite amount can be paid via Debit / Credit Card / UPI / Net Banking. Foreign aspirants need to pay INR 5000 (boys), INR 4000 (girls), INR 4,500 (Gen-EWS/OBC-NCL), INR 3000 (3rd Gender) and INR 2500 (SC/ST/PwD).

JEE Main 2025 Syllabus
JEE Main Syllabus 2025 can be found on the website. It mainly covers topics from the 11th and 12th-grade levels. To accommodate different syllabus changes by various boards in the country, the National Testing Agency offers a choice in one section of each subject in Paper 1 and Paper 2A/B (part 1). The total number of questions you answer remains the same for relevant subjects, like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, with 25 questions each.
For Paper 1 (B.E/ B.Tech)
- Physics: Questions will be about things like spinning objects, laws of motion, measuring in physics, waves, light, electricity, and more.
- Chemistry: You'll see questions about the structure of atoms, heat in chemistry, how things change over time, and more.
- Mathematics: Expect questions on things like numbers, matrices, equations, shapes, and more.
For Paper 2A (B.Arch)
- Mathematics: You'll get questions about numbers, shapes, and equations, similar to Paper 1.
- Aptitude Test: This part is about your general awareness, ability to understand 3D objects from 2D drawings, and logical thinking.
- Drawing Test: You'll be asked to draw scenes from memory. These scenes could be about city life, rural life, or landscapes. Make sure to bring your drawing supplies like pencils and crayons.
For Paper 2B (B.Plan)
- Mathematics: Similar to Paper 1 and 2A, you'll get math questions.
- Aptitude Test: This part tests your awareness, ability to understand 3D objects from 2D drawings, and logical thinking, just like Paper 2A.
- Planning: This part focuses on questions related to planning. You'll be asked about general awareness, social sciences, and thinking skills.

JEE Main 2025 Admit Card
Candidates should have downloaded the hall ticket from the official website. To download the admit card, candidates should have to enter their registered email ID and password that was generated during the registration process. Candidates have to carry a print copy of the hall ticket along with two passport-size recent color photographs at the exam centre on the day of the exam.

Admission offers will be made to students based on their preferences and their All India Ranks in JEE Main, determined through a seat allocation process. During the admission and seat allocation process, the verification of essential documents will be carried out. It's important to note that candidates who fail to produce the required documents may not be considered for admission.
