The UPSEE (UPCET) 2025 General Eligibility outlines the requirements for candidates seeking admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Indian and Foreign National candidates can apply, with specific reservations for NRI candidates. Candidates must meet the age, qualification, and marks criteria and can participate in the counseling based on their JEE Main 2025,  SAT, or CUET exam scores.

Nationality Indian and Foreign National candidates can apply. NRI candidates can also appear for specific reserved seats.
Age Limit There is no age limit for Undergraduate courses. For a B.Arch, candidates must have completed 17 years of age—there is no age limit for postgraduate courses.
Qualification Must have passed 10+2 Intermediate or equivalent from any recognized board. Class 12 appearing candidates can also appear for the exam.
Marks in the Qualifying Exam At least 50% marks in Class 10 & 12 and 50% marks aggregate in PCM Subjects.
JEE Main Candidates scoring above the prescribed cut-off marks can directly participate in the counselling.
Board Candidates with 80% or above in Classes 10 & 12 can either appear for or participate directly in counselling.
SAT & CUET Admissions are provided through SAT & CUET scores. SAT cut-off is 50%.

Educational Qualifications
  • B.Tech/ B.Pharma: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.
  • B.Arch: Candidates must have completed a 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject and obtained at least 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
  • BHMCT/ BFAD/ BFA/ B.Des: Candidates should have passed 10+2 equivalent examinations in any discipline.

For Postgraduate courses

Educational Qualifications
  • MBA: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree of at least three years from a recognised institution.
  • MCA: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree of at least three years with Mathematics as a subject at the 10+2 or the graduate level.
  • M.Tech: Candidates must have a B.Tech/ BE degree or equivalent in the relevant field.
  • M.Pharma: Candidates must have a B.Pharm degree or its equivalent.
