The UPSEE (UPCET)-2025 is an entrance exam for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in universities and colleges across Uttar Pradesh. For undergraduate programs like B.Tech, B.Pharma, B.Arch, and others, candidates must meet specific educational qualifications such as passing 10+2 with relevant subjects. The minimum qualifying marks are 45% for the general category (40% for reserved category) in (10+2) or equivalent examination or Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) with at least 45% marks (40% for candidates belonging to SC/ST category).
Candidates can also pursue lateral entries for the second year of B. Tech., B. Pharm., and MCA. UPSEE was renamed UPCET (Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test) in 2021.
The difficulty level of UPSEE is moderate. Generally, in UPSEEE, questions are straight to the point or a bit typical; hence, to prepare for UPSEEE, one must go through the key concepts discussed in NCERT textbooks and the general board syllabus.
Candidates must have qualified in your class 12 exam from a recognized board or institution in UP or outside of UP with a minimum of 45% marks. The qualifying marks are 40% for SC and ST. The subjects are Physics, Math, Chemistry /Biology /Biotechnology,/Technical Vocational subjects.

Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) is a State-level Entrance exam for degree-level engineering institutions and other professional colleges. The examination was conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU).
The main exam had 1750 marks, while the interview had 275 marks. The written examination (main) will consist of the following nine papers, but only 7 papers will be counted for the final merit ranking. Each paper is for 250 marks. Thus, the total mark for the Main exam is 1750.
The application fee is INR 1300 for male, transgender candidates of general or OBC category; for SC ST category, female/ PH candidates of all categories, it is INR 650.
UPSEE (UPCET) B. Pharm syllabus includes subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.
The UPSEE 2022 difficulty was overall moderate. Overall, students found that three hours was sufficient to complete the entire paper, and the questions were not tricky.
