The University of Jammu has a Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), formerly known as the Directorate of Distance Education. It was established on March 3, 1976, with the sole vision to provide flexible and accessible higher education opportunities to students who are unable to pursue traditional classroom-based programs.
The University of Jammu is accredited with an 'A++’ grade by NAAC and recognized by UGC, AICTE, and DEB., The Jammu University DDE offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma programs through distance and online learning modes.
University of Jammu online admission is merit-based. The institute provides a range of programs, including Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.), Master of Arts (M.A.) in disciplines like English, Hindi, Urdu, Sociology, Political Science, and more, as well as Master of Commerce (M.Com.) and specialized diploma courses like Gyani.
Admission to Jammu Distance University is open throughout the year. While scholarships are not currently offered by the center, it remains committed to delivering quality education through flexible learning solutions tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners.
