The final selection is made using a composite score based on entrance test scores, PI, Extemporaneous Speaking, academic profile, gender, regional diversity, work experience, and socio-economic profile. BIMTECH Greater Noida's Selection Criteria includes both Extempore (EXTM) and Personal Interview (PI). The marks scored in entrance exams for CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, or MAT have a weightage of 30% of the total score. The candidate’s performance in Class 10, Class 12, and college accounts for 7% of the weightage. They can also be awarded additional marks (5%) if they have pursued Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics. Candidates with work experience receive a 10% bonus. To promote diversity of backgrounds, BIMTECH awards 3% to candidates who do not belong to UP and NCR, 5% to students from ESCS groups (Minorities/SC/ST/OBC/EWS), and an additional 5% to female candidates to promote gender diversity.
