BIMTECH Cutoff 2025: Section-wise Percentile, Selection Criteria & Admission Insights

BIMTECH Greater Noida cutoff has been released for the year 2025 for admission to PGDM and sectoral management programmes. Candidates are shortlisted based on their scores in CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, or MAT, followed by an Extempore and a Personal Interview (PI). For 2025, the general CAT cutoff is between 60 and 75 percentiles. PGDM programmes in International Business, Insurance Business Management, and Retail Management have lower cutoffs to promote diversity and inclusiveness.

 

Apart from general cutoff marks, BIMTECH also considers section-wise CAT cutoffs (e.g., 40 percentile in QA, VARC, and DILR). The final selection is made using a composite score based on entrance test scores, PI, Extemporaneous Speaking, academic profile, gender, regional diversity, work experience, and socio-economic profile. BIMTECH announces course-wise, category-wise, and exam-wise cutoffs for every PGDM specialisation every year.

BIMTECH Greater Noida Selection Criteria 2025

BIMTECH Greater Noida's Selection Criteria includes both Extempore (EXTM) and Personal Interview (PI). These two combined to form 35% of the total score: 10% for Extemporaneous Speaking and 25% for the Personal Interview. The marks scored in entrance exams for CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, or MAT have a weightage of 30% of the total score. The candidate’s performance in Class 10, Class 12, and college accounts for 7% of the weightage. They can also be awarded additional marks (5%) if they have pursued Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics. Candidates with work experience receive a 10% bonus. To promote diversity of backgrounds, BIMTECH awards 3% to candidates who do not belong to UP and NCR, 5% to students from ESCS groups (Minorities/SC/ST/OBC/EWS), and an additional 5% to female candidates to promote gender diversity.
