VBSPU Jaunpur: Scholarships 2025 – Eligibility, Application & Amount

Several scholarships and fellowships are available to deserving and financially needy students at VBSPU. Some of the UG and PG scholarships that VBSPU offers are listed below:

Scholarships Eligibility Benefits
Scholarships for College and University Students in the Central Sector
  • 10+2 with 80 percentile
  • Pursuing regular degree course
  • Not availing any other scholarship or financial aid
  • Family income must not exceed 4.5 LPA
  • INR 12,000 p.m. for UG students
  • INR 20,000 p.m. for PG students
Post-Matric Scholarship for students belonging to SC/ST/Minorities
  • Applicant must be Indian
  • Family income must not exceed 2 LPA
  • Must be a domicile of Mizoram
  • Aggregate marks in the last qualifying examination must not be less than 50%
  • The admission fee for undergraduate and postgraduate students is INR 3,000 per year.
  • Maintenance allowance INR 350 per month
Post Matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities
  • Must be a citizen of India with not less than 40% disability
  • Students must not be receiving any other scholarships or stipends to be eligible.
  • Not more than two disabled children of the same parents will be entitled for the scholarship
  • Family income must not be more than INR 2.5 lakhs per year.
  • Disability allowances worth INR 4000 p.a.
  • Book allowance of INR 1500 p.a.
  • Maintenance allowance of INR 1600 p.m. for hostellers and inr 750 p.m. for day scholars
Top Class Education Scheme for SC Students
  • Family income must not exceed 8 LPA
  • Candidates must be enrolled in a full-time course at the designated institution.
  • Amount up to 2 LPA
  • Students will receive an academic allowance of Rs.86,000 for the first year, and Rs.41,000 for each following year.
Scheme of post matric scholarship to ST students
  • To qualify for the scholarship, the annual family income must not exceed Rs.2,00,000.
  • The candidate must belong to the ST (Scheduled Tribe) category and should be an Indian national.
  • Maintenance allowance of 1200 p.m. for hostellers and 550 p.m. for day scholars

For qualified students from poor socioeconomic homes, the institution additionally offers a fee waiver program in addition to the scholarships shown in the above table. It also provides financial aid to deserving students from low-income families. All merit place winners in the university examinations and competitive examinations receive a tuition reduction. Students from the families of the Kargil Martyrs and those impacted by natural disasters like tsunamis, etc. are also given financial aid.
