The All India Council for Technical Education awarded the institute approval and it is associated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. The only engineering college to receive an A++ rating from NAAC is AKGEC. The engineering school Ajay Kumar Garg College offers B.Tech, M.Tech, and MCA programs. There are four M.Tech specialties and eleven B.Tech specializations available in the AKGEC program.

AKGEC Admissions Process Step 1:- Register Online
- For those students who want to be admitted to AKGEC for admission, firstly they need to register themselves on the official website of the institution.
Step 2: fill out the application form
- Fill in the required credentials in the application form and scan them in either JPG and PDF format.
Step 3: Scan the documents
- Candidates should check all the required documents for admission to the college and scan all the required documents like the mark sheet and leaving certificate.
Step 4: Make the online payment:
- After filling out the application form and attaching all the required documents, then make the online payment of the application fee.

Eligibility criteria for various courses: BTECH and MTECH professional courses are available to students at AKGEC. In order to be admitted to a master's program, applicants must have graduated from an Indian institution that has gained recognition.
