Fee Structure for PhD Programs at Amity University Gwalior

For Indian Nationals:

• Registration Fee: Rs.10,000
• Security Deposit: Rs.10,000

Academic Fee:

1. Full-time: Rs.35,000 per semester
2. Part-time: Rs.30,000 per semester

For Foreign Nationals / NRI:

• Registration Fee: Rs.10,000
• Security Deposit: Rs.10,000

Academic Fee:

• Full-time: Rs.75,000 per semester
• Part-time: Rs.1,00,000 per semester

Important Notes

• The cost of the Built Environment PhD program will be as specified in the PhD programs offered section under this program.
• The fee is paid semester-wise covering two semesters of a year. The scholar will pay the fees for a minimum period (minimum 3 years for PhD full-time and 3.5 years for PhD part-time) and for the period he/she stays enrolled until submitting the thesis, with an upper cap of 6 years.
• The security deposit shall be returned at the end of PhD.

Application Process

1. Availability of Application Form

• The application form is available online at www.amity.edu/ranchi.
• Cost: Rs. 1,500 (Non-refundable).

2. Selection of the Program

• Candidates can select from a variety of programs based on their interest.
• For further assistance, candidates can contact the helpline at 72-820-77771/2/3/4/5/8 or write to admission@rnc.amity.edu.

3. Filling up the Application Form

• Instructions: Read the form instructions carefully before filling it out.
• Only apply if you meet the eligibility criteria.
• Upload: Class 10th mark sheet and a recent passport-sized photograph.
• For foreign students, attach academic transcripts and AIU Equivalence Certificate.
• Important Points:
  • Fill in correct details; incorrect forms will be rejected.
  • The email provided will be used for all admission communications.
  • Discrepancies during document verification will result in admission cancellation.
  • The form is processed within 2-3 working days after submission.

4. Admission Microsite

• Access admissions updates through Amity Admission Microsite.
• Log in using your mobile number and password.
• Check the update of registration status, selection process with fee payment link of application.

• This is a cost and responsibility on the part of the applicant, ensuring that he checks the microsite, emails, and SMS regularly.

5. Selection Process

• There will be an English language skills test and a specific subject question prior to the interview process.

6. Offer of Admission

• Offer to Admission: It Offer to Admission is communicated through the Admission Microsite, Email, and SMS.
• Admission Letter: All should be listed information on fees, starting date for the program, scholarship details if applicable, and documentation needed.
• Admission is conditional and shall only be for the current academic year.
• In case one has failed to pay fees or attend classes within the stated date, his admission can be cancelled.

7. Offer of Direct Admission

• UG Programs: Candidates with 80%+ aggregate in Class XII (CBSE/ISC/State Boards) in 2023/2024 are eligible for direct admission (excludes certain programs like Architecture, Design, etc.).
• Law Programs: Direct admission to law programs is offered based on CLAT score.
• PG Programs: Amity Alumni are eligible for direct admission to PG programs (subject to meeting eligibility criteria).

8. Admission for Foreign/NRI Students

• The same eligibility criteria apply for foreign and NRI students as for Indian residents.
• Last date for foreign applications: June 30, 2024.
• TOEFL/IELTS is required if the candidate's schooling did not include English.

9. Admission through Lateral Entry

• Lateral entry admission is available in the 3rd or 5th semester for specific programs.

10. Ph.D. Admission

• Ph.D. programs are offered in both full-time and part-time modes, with intake in January and July each year.
