Amity University is one of the top-ranked institutions in India, and it has a portfolio of scholarships to attract and support meritorious students across programs. The scholarships are structured to facilitate academic excellence through the provision of relevant provisions for students who stand out both academically and in entrance exams, sports persons, and wards of martyrs belonging to certain backgrounds. This scholarship programme not only supports financially but also motivated students to pursue higher education without bothering about any tuition fees. A brief elaboration of scholarships available for which can be taken at Amity University for the 2024 academic year has been mentioned below:.

1. Scholarship-cum-Fast Track Admission for Programs after 10+2

Amity University offers the facility of a Fast Track Admission scheme for those meritorious students who have passed their 10+2 or higher secondary in which undergraduate program admissions open. This facility does not require the students to apply in the regular admission selection process, if they fulfill the said academic requirements. Scholarship Scheme for 10+2 Students: The scholarship scheme for 10+2 students shall apply on students who appeared for Class XII during 2023 and 2024. These scholarships are on percentage marks obtained in Class XII examinations.

Scholarship Criteria for Class XII Students (2023 & 2024)

100% Scholarship: Full fee waiver for all programmes in the first year of the programme is available to all students who secure aggregate marks of 95% or above in the CBSE/ISC only.
50% Scholarship: Students who score between 90% and 94.99% in aggregate (CBSE/ISC only) are eligible for a 50% tuition fee waiver for the first year.

Apart from that, Amity also offers Direct Admission through CUET in the year 2024. The students who secure 80 percentile or above in CUET get a direct admission without undergoing the selection process. However, its exclusion is witnessed for programs like B.Pharma, B.Tech. CSE, and Bachelor's programs in Psychology.

CUET 2024 Scholarship Scheme

100% Scholarship: Students with a CUET percentile score of 95 and above.
50% Scholarship: Students with a CUET percentile score of 90 and above.

The scholarships offered for the B.Pharma course will be available only after admission to the course. Furthermore, 100% scholarship is not offered in courses such as B.Pharma, B.Tech. CSE, and B.Sc. Psychology.

2. Scholarships for B.Tech Programs Based on JEE Main 2024 Score

Merit scholarships for students taking direct admission into B.Tech program on the basis of their performance in JEE Main 2024 and Class XII examination have been declared for the aspirants of Amity University as well. Fast track admission process will be accorded to students and scholarships will be given to students from the top performers who score well in JEE but this is only limited hence, only full fee paying students who register first will be accommodated.

Scholarship Criteria for B.Tech Programs (Based on JEE Main 2024 Percentile)

100% Scholarship: For students with a JEE Main percentile between 97 and 100.
75% Scholarship: For students with a JEE Main percentile between 94 and 96.9.
50% Scholarship: For students with a JEE Main percentile between 90 and 93.9.

The Fast Track Admission and Scholarship scheme is not applicable to certain programs, such as Architecture, Design, Education, Fine Arts, Fashion, Law, and Physical Education.

3. Scholarship for Postgraduate (PG) Programs

The following scholarships are offered by Amity University for the Postgraduate (PG) courses based on the performance in the undergraduate level and Class XII results. It does not offer the Fast Track Admission process like the undergraduate courses unless the students applying come from the group of Amity alumni, and scholarships are awarded after joining.

Scholarship Criteria for PG Programs

100% Scholarship: Students with a minimum of 95% aggregate in their Class XII exams (CBSE/ISC) and 80% in their graduation are eligible for a full tuition fee waiver for the first year.
50% Scholarship: Students with an aggregate score of 90-94.9% in their Class XII exams (CBSE/ISC) and 75% in graduation are eligible for a 50% tuition fee waiver.

There should not be any lacuna between graduation and Class XII. Scholarships are partially given based on which students have to apply first-cum-first served on-site. The decision of the scholarship committee would be final regarding the disbursal of the said scholarships. The students will have to submit their originals for verification of documents and marksheets.

4. Sports Scholarships

Amity University encourages those students who are good at sports by providing Sports Scholarships for talented sportspersons. The scholarships would be provided based upon a combination of academic performance and sports achievements and participation in International and National Sports Events.

Scholarship Criteria for Sports Achievements

100% Scholarship International participants in recognized sports events are eligible for 100% scholarship. Fast Track Admission is permitted without any sports trials and interviews.
50% Scholarship - National Medal: Those who bag a Gold, Silver, or Bronze medal get a 50% scholarship for tuition. Sports Trials and Interview will be the grounds for admission.
25% Scholarship: Awardees of National Sportsperson The participants who have won State or Region-level Championships and have been representing states/regions in prestigious sporting events are eligible for 25% tuition fee scholarship. Selection would be on the basis of Sports Trials, Interviews and assessment of sports certificates for the last three years.

Amity recognizes achievements in a number of sports, that include athletics, badminton, chess, cricket, football, gymnastics, shooting, swimming, lawn tennis and volleyball. The student has to submit an affidavit stating that he/she intends to represent Amity University in the sport in which he/she is being selected for during his period of learning at the university. Sports Scholarship is a one-time award and may also be continued on subsequent years depending upon the performance of the student in the sport concerned and as per the policy of the university in the matter of scholarship.

5. Martyr's Scholarship

Amity University offers the scholarship called Martyr's Scholarship to the wards of deceased soldiers as a respect to their services rendered for the nation. This scholarship is available for children whose parents are martyrs and were martyred while on duty, and it is also provided to dependents of personnel in organizations such as the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, and paramilitary forces- BSF, CRPF, ITBP, etc., and that of state police forces.

Scholarship Criteria for Wards of Martyrs

100% Scholarship: Student children of martyrs are eligible for a full tuition fee waiver, provided they have met the minimum academic eligibility for their chosen programme and are selected through the selection process.
Qualifying Act of Martyrdom: The act of martyrdom should be in accordance with the tasks and applicants must submit documentary proof for justification of the application.
It will only be given once the student has accepted university entry and may be obtained for subsequent years depending on the guidelines of the university's Martyr's Scholarship.

6. Miscellaneous Scholarship Notes

Neither do scholarships pay for refundable security deposits nor for boarding and lodging expenses.
The students cannot combine various scholarships or concessions. Instead, they can only take advantage of the highest scholarship available to them.
All grants are granted for the student's first academic year in the study program and extended for subsequent years based on the university's scholarship policy, as well as on the individual performance of the student.
Scholarship applications should reach before 31st October of the year of admission, and no scholarship applications will be entertained subsequent to this date.
