For B.Tech, applicants must have a minimum cumulative score 45% in PMC/ PCB to get admission into the first-year B-Tech programs and for B.Tech (Lateral) Candidates must have completed a diploma program in engineering, technology, or pharmacy from any AICTE-recognized polytechnic or institute with at least 60% overall, or they must have completed XII standard coursework with mathematics as a subject and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree from a university approved by the U.G.C. with at least 60% is the eligibility of Asansol Engineering College.

B.Tech For B.Tech, applicants must have a minimum cumulative score 45% in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biology to get admission into the first-year B-Tech programs. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEE) administers the JELET written exam, which must be taken and passed to get admission into the second year of a B-Tech program (lateral entrance).
BBA Candidates must have passed the 10+2 exam from an approved board to get admission to the first year of the BBA degree program. Merit, or the scores earned on qualifying tests from an accredited board, shall determine admission. Candidates who are chosen from a merit list must pay the entrance fee as soon as feasible to guarantee their spot.
BCA To get admission into BCA, candidates must have completed English and Mathematics, Statistics, Business Mathematics, and Computer Applications at the 10+2 level, as well as a recognized board.
