Assam University (AU), also referred to as Silchar University, was established by an act passed by the Indian Parliament. Assam University Admission:
Assam University Admission 2024 is already open and complete process will be handled online. The majority of UG and PG programs at Assam University campuses and associated colleges are admitted using the NTA-conducted CUET exam. To be eligible to take the CUET exam, candidates must register on the university's official admissions website. Also, JEE Mains results are accepted by Assam University for admission to B.Tech programs. In addition, Assam University administers its own entrance exam for admission to different programs, including PhD, M.Phil, and B.Ed. Merit lists based on admission exam results are used to make the final student selection. In addition, Assam University reserves the right to hold in-person interviews for the MBA, B.Ed, M.Phil, PhD, and other programs.
All original copies of the applicants' academic certificates must be brought to the personal interview round. The university holds offline admission drives on campus to fill the available seats. Also, the same procedure is used for admissions to colleges affiliated with Assam University.
